You'll only be hurting yourself if you choose to go anywhere else. This is by far the best tattoo parlor I've ever been to. I wouldn't even call it a parlor, let's be real, it's a home. It is to me at least.

Every artist loves their work and takes pride in everything they do. Better yet, all the others artists are equally as interested in making your piece what you want and won't stop till your satisfied. I give my artist, Tarik, an idea and he blew my away every time.

Don't even look anywhere else. GO. HERE.

Would not recommend. Walked in for a simple and small Roman numeral tattoo and was told it would be $250-300! Save yourself the hassle and the money and go somewhere else!!

I had a fantastic experience at Hart and Huntington in TN - Mel was my artist and she was incredible. Even before my appointment she worked with me to ensure she knew exactly what I wanted. Everything was on time, super clean and Mel was a dream to work with. She did a watercolor wave tattoo on my upper arm - my largest tattoo to date - it truly exceeds all expectations. It is a beautiful piece. I would travel back to Nashville for any future tattoos to see Mel. She took my idea and made it even better - I receive so many compliments and am so happy I have the tattoo in such a visible place - I’m so proud of it! Thank you Mel for the gorgeous art - I’ll forever be grateful! Can’t recommend her and H&H enough!

I worked with Mel to create a special tattoo for my son. She did a beautiful watercolor piece on me that I cherish. My son was able to write his name and watch her tattoo it on me from behind the counter which was super special. After I had mine done, my husband also went to Mel for his next tattoo! my best friend sees her in two weeks as well for a Harry Potter tattoo! Mel is clean, professional, friendly, focused, and takes breaks enough to let you get some water or a snack if you need it. Her prices match her artwork and are well worth it in my opinion. You pay for what you get and she is very talented and does beautiful work. The rest of the staff was friendly and kind as well! we love the whole shop!

If you want quality tattoos, Hart and Huntington is the place to get tattooed in Nashville. I have now had 4 sessions with Cody, and I could not be more pleased with the results both pre and post healing process. A couple years back I came to Cody as a walk in for a small tattoo on my thigh and the work was incredible / Cody was extremely easy to converse with and was able to take my simple vision and create a beautiful piece of permanent art. I knew that I had to go back to him for my lower half sleeve. Cody was extremely helpful within the planning phases for each session and always made me feel extremely comfortable while the sessions were in progress. Other artists in the shop were also very kind as well as the receptionist's. Angel stepped in to help out with some aftercare help when Cody was not available and I really appreciate the fact that the artists in the shop treat all clients with respect. Yes, if you have seen it in other reviews - Hart and Huntington is slightly more pricey than your average shop. Keep in mind that you are paying for not just the tattoo but also the service and experience that comes along with it. These people work hard to provide their clients with incredible and original works of permanent art. In my honest opinion the price is absolutely worth the high quality work. Thank you to Cody and everyone at Hart and Huntington, I will be returning in the fall to continue with my collection. - (Princess Mononoke/Spirited Away half sleeve and Tudor Rose thigh tattoo)

I just got my tattoo from Mel today, and I am so very pleased with my piece and the experience! She put together a perfect design for me based off what I said I wanted. I was overly nervous for my first big tattoo but she helped me stay calm throughout the whole process. Her artwork is truly one of a kind. The whole staff was very friendly and great with communication. A very clean and nice facility as well! I will 100% always recommend Mel to anyone who wants a rad tattoo!

WOW!! I worked with Austin to begin a sleeve, he worked on my arm for 8 hours and made me as comfortable as possible, was super friendly, and professional. GET TATTOOED HERE!!!! The salon is sparkling clean, and the staff is AMAZING. They really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable.

It was worth every penny and you can really tell the difference in quality here vs other shops in the area. I searched for months for an artist and shop that I liked and H&H had me set up with someone the same day I contacted them and an appointment to do the tattoo in the next week. Their responsiveness, professionalism, and kindness really made this experience phenomenal. Can't wait to get more! Thanks Austin!!

Mel was so kind and so flexible with my vision of the tattoo. Her line work is stellar and her use of color is unmatched. I’m a big fan. Her florals are a signature of her work and she’s an artist through and through. Would recommend to anyone!

I don't have many tattoos, but this is the cleanest and most professional place I have ever been to! The whole experience from start to finish was easy! I appreciated all of the organization and detail prior to getting my tattoo. I felt well taken care of by the staff and the tattoo artist, Mel.
