Safe House Tattoo Studio

I made an appointment with Chip Harbin (see his Instagram @Chipperharbin) , and my experience was phenomenal. I felt very comfortable with the atmosphere, the studio was very well-kept and clean, and safety procedures were followed to the T. I requested a color tattoo of a cardinal, as an extension of a previous tattoo. Chip integrated it beautifully keeping the vision of the original artist, while adding a beautiful piece of artwork and integrating both pieces. If I had not seen my tattoo before, I would have assumed that it was all done by one person. As Safe House tattoos is adding another location, one for walk-ins and the other mainly for appointments, I absolutely recommend their studio, and their artists. I paid $400 dollars for a tattoo by Chip Harbin. The first time i went the tattoo looked great, but when it healed the ink didn't heal well (no fault of his own). However, I went back two days ago to get it retouched and the line work looks terrible. (I posted pictures) all of the staff are very friendly and most of the tattoos coming out of there look awesome. Touch ups were free which was great, and customer service and vibe were great as well, but in my opinion the tattoo isn't worth $400.

The guys at Safe House were phenomenal! Got me an appointment during an out of town trip, we’re super understanding when I was late for my appointment, and did a fantastic job with my tattoo! Couldn’t beat the price! I’ll definitely be back!

If you’re looking for a place to go this should be it. English does incredible work and treated us so well to make sure we loved our tattoos. I have confidence every artist would have treated us just as well and done a fantastic job also. Thank you Safe House for the great experience.

My wife and I were traveling through Nashville on our 15th anniversary trip and asked Safe House if they could work us in. It was sort of a last minute work-in. Our artist Mercedes Domagall was amazing. She helped us get our tattoos we had been wanting and customized them to our liking. Super cool, clean place! Highly recommend these guys!

Worked with Chipper on the newest art, and will be working on the rest of my sleeve with him and the guys at Safe House! The shop is super clean and looked really nice. Everybody was really professional, but had fun at the same time! I could not be happier with the the shop as a whole, and of course with Chipper! He can take any idea or design and transform it into art!!

My first time getting a tattoo at this shop and I had a fantastic experience. I made an appointment with Adam and he worked thoroughly with me to make sure the tattoo was exactly what I wanted. Everyone there was super friendly and welcoming- definitely would recommend!!!

Safe house tattoos is super clean and comfotable. All of the artists are friendly, helpful, and informative. I met Chipper Harbin and when I saw his work it blew me away. He sketched out EXACTLY what I wanted before I had barely gotten the description out of my mouth and then asked me tons of questions about details I hadn't considered. While working he was easy to chat with and went above and beyond to not only make me comfortable, but excited about the process as well. And the tattoo.... I can't put into words how happy I am with it. It's everything I had imagined plus Chipper's AMAZING talent and creativity.

My husband and I both got tattoos from Eli and he did an AMAZING job! It has been almost a year and I have been meaning to write this for a while now. Thank you ELI for not only creating beautiful permanent art but also for the experience! You have a good personality and that made things easier considering it was our first tattoos! We will be coming back when we are in Nashville and will not to go to anyone else!

I always knew I wanted to get a tattoo - and had an idea for the concept... but no idea for the visual or even where to start. Then a friend introduced me to Ian... what an unbelievable experience it was from first meeting to completion.

I basically told Ian a few things that concepts/ideas a lot to me - and he came up with visuals for them that are better than anything I could've ever imagined. It's been two years now, I love this tattoo every day, it's actually a daily reminder about how I want to live my life. Now I'm getting ready to get my other arm done with him.
