Offering the brightest and boldest tattoos in a modern, clean, friendly and sterile environment. The shop consists of AJ Maloney, Eric Solis, Max Klapp, James Shepherd, Jeremy Cook, Royce Williams, JD Rodriguez and a revolving door of guest tattooers from all over the world. We offer a wide variety styles such as bright traditional American, realistic black and grey, large and small scale Japanese, bold tribal or any tattoo idea you may have, large or small. Even though appointments are preferred we will happily take walk-ins"

Was in Austin for a weekend trip from Lubbock, TX. They took me as a walk in and I ended up getting a rose basically free handed on the front of my shoulder. Looks ridiculously amazing. Totally outshines all my other tattoos. Will definitely be driving all the way back there for more.

Visited Austin for my husbands bday. We were feeling fancy so we decided to go on a tattoo date! Saw the reviews and thought why not??
Maaannn the reviews don't even cut it here. This place is hands down my favorite tattoo shop and I will plan on making an appt in the future. Black Dagger is warm and inviting. They had a sign that said Come as a stranger leave as a friend and i thought it was super lame until I met MAX. Man. That guy is so cool! He gave us guidance on the tattoo we wanted. It wasn't weird or awkward when he started tattooing me. No awkward silences or aggression. He was a gentle baby angle. He was fast and his lines were grade A. You can tell he's super passionate about his work.
Thanks for finishing off a great little stay in ATX.
