Our aim is to accommodate all types, always. A studio with no discrimination and no egos. We want every client to feel comfortable, content and acknowledged. Currently, we are operating by-appointment-only , this may change in the near future. I got tattooed here by guest artist Cyril (boreal cowboi tattoos on ig) and had the best experience! The shop is in a cozy house and the front waiting area is nice, lots of beautiful art to look at. The place was clean, and the artist was professional and did a great job tattooing my own design on my arm. Will definitely come back here again!

Finding a good place to get a tattoo is always intimidating, especially as a queer person.
I found Companion Tattoo with a Google search, and I couldn't be more pleased. I've been there twice now, and both experiences have been wonderful. The shop is clean, relaxed and comfortable. Even the machines they use are quieter! If you've ever been in a tattoo shop, you know how loud they can get. I felt totally at ease with my artist Amy, and I could not recommend this place more.

If you ask me, Stevie is one of the most talented tattoo artists working in Austin right now! They have a delicate touch, precise linework, and vibrant color. Their pieces heal quickly and well. I've gotten 3 tattoos from them and I'm going back for another soon :) I love the environment of the shop - super friendly and inclusive, with plenty of space and privacy. Plus, they hosted a silent disco benefit awhile back which was SUPER fun, raising money for Out Youth (I think), and they've also raised money for animal rescue orgs. An awesome shop with skilled artists!

I saw Anastasia there for a fine line b&w tattoo and had such a great experience. Anastasia was super nice and just great throughout the whole experience. The shop itself was very clean and also had overall great vibes. I am so stoked about how my tattoo came out and would highly recommend them!

Chloe is AMAZING! Literally changed my life. She reworked my entire half sleeve for me and did an amazing job. She listened to everything I wanted done to the piece as well as adding her personal style to it. She was on time for every appointment, so gentle, so professional. She didn’t make me wait around which I really appreciated so much. She always started our appointments right on time and we just got to work. Knowing she respected my time was the best. My tattoo looks amazing and I’ve never had a tattoo heal as well as this one has. It’s clear to me in the past how other artist have over worked my skin now that I know what a good tattoo should heal like! Thank you SO much Chloe. I could go on and on because I think you’re super rad but thank you! Chef Chloe out. She can’t do anything so don’t be afraid to ask her for something out of her, “style.” She’s an awesome artist and even cooler person. 💜
