Dovetail Tattoo East

I got my first tattoo here this past Tuesday from Tarence. He was super accommodating leading up with my many emails and being patient. The tattoo looks great! After I left, I realized there had been a mistake made (not with the tattoo itself). I text Tarence and he immediately resolved the issue, proving they’re trustworthy and professional. Can’t wait to go back and add more! Very friendly and clean place!

Sando did an amazing job helping me to figure out exactly what I wanted with my rune tattoo. My original image i brought was simple basic black lines and when I asked for something with an inlay appearance and colors I wanted added in specific ways, he went above and beyond :) very happy with my tattoo and I hope to have more work done with him again!

I had a fantastic time getting tattooed by Catherine! She was sweet, knowledgeable, and dedicated to making sure I was getting the tattoo of my dreams. I can’t thank her enough for being so amazing.

I went to Dovetail tattoo with a pretty defined tattoo idea and gave Tarence Newsome a deposit after he gave me confidence that he liked the idea and could make it happen. Once he began actually putting the design together it became clear that he didn't understand what I wanted and that he was more interested in his ideas than mine. I told him that I thought it was best that we part ways and that I thought I deserved the deposit back due to his inability to incorporate original discussions into the design. He kept the deposit and made no attempt to indemnify the situation. Thanks for nothing Dovetail tattoo.

From start to finish, one of the best experiences I've ever had! Thom is extremely patient, talented, friendly, compassionate and an amazing artist. He gave me *exactly* what I wanted. I'm so damn happy I can't even!

First time at this shop was for a friday the 13th special (usually a very tedious experience) and I didn't have to wait hours upon hours, the staff artists working that night were all super courteous and professional, and I love my tattoo! Will definitely return and recommend to others looking for a great tattoo experience

Went in for a consultation. The artist was thirty minutes late for the scheduled time. And in no hurry to at least let me know they’re going to be late. Not bothering to take them seriously either.

Erika tattooed my wife and i. i am very happy with her work. She is a great artist and a nice person.

Jerrod Rodriguez is the best. I got an amazing tattoo. I'm always getting compliments on his work. Hands down my favorite artist to get work from.
