Lost Edge Tattoo

My experience was with Cory. Let me start with the tattoo itself is absolutely beautiful! He does amazing work! No questions there.

The only thing I thought was different when I got there it took him almost 2 1/2 hours to sketch the work. My experience that was done before but he’s the artist. Then we finished an hour early. And I still paid for the total 8 hours of work. I’ve never experienced that before usually I have paid for total tattooing time. I would of appreciated more clarity on that. Like no matter what you pay for 8 hours whether it’s drawing or finishing early.

Had an awesome experience getting a memorial tattoo earlier this week. I knew this was a really popular studio so was thrilled to see that I could make an appointment with their newest artist, Thyris, pretty much right away. FYI - Thyris may be new to the studio but he's been tattooing for years and his portfolio spans all kinds of styles and themes and it's all gorgeous. I provided a little bit of guidance for what I was looking for and he designed a beautiful tattoo that I absolutely love - the perfect combination of the feeling I wanted to evoke as a memorial to a friend and his own artistry. Plus he's a chill dude who let me chat his ear off the whole time which I appreciated :D The studio itself is beautiful, clean, and bright and they have snacks and big comfy chairs to sit in while you wait. Overall stellar experience, already planning my next visit :)

Cory is an amazing artist. My piece turned out better then expected. He definitely pays attention to the minor details, I have multiple tattoos and he is the first to do so.

Had an amazing experience here at Lost Edge. I had a what I thought was a complicated piece I wanted tattooed and Thyris did an AMAZING job. You could really tell he was passionate and focused on getting it perfect and it could not have come out better. If you want to get your piece done right there is no better place.

Lost Edge Tattoo and Henrry Bravo are both world class legends in my book! The Studio has a great vibe, from the people to the art on the walls. I just got my first large piece the other day and I never had a doubt thanks to the amazing professional folks there and the clean and stellar conditions of the studio. I will be going back for my next one (though after 7 hr’s under the needles it’s probably not gonna be soon)

I wanted to get a memorial tattoo for my father who passed. Thyris put his heart and soul into my tattoo because he was very into the stories I gave him about my father. Couldn’t ask for a better tattoo artist and the environment was so comfortable and absolutely clean, they were very nice. Heather gave me a bag of goodies and Cory who is the owner gave me one of him shorts which really made me feel appreciated and I was grateful. Definitely coming back here soon!

Thyris was the consummate professional who took my input and developed an incredible grey and black tattoo to help me pay tribute to my wife and the finality that life and death holds over me. And then we spent some serious time together bringing that design to life on half of my back. The process isn’t an easy one but Thyris made it completely worthwhile with his skills as demonstrated in my amazing tattoo. Will definitely use him again and highly recommend their shop.

Cory and the team provided a truly elevated custom tattoo experience. From the nice feel of the studio to a one of a kind masterpiece, Lost Edge is exactly what I had hoped for. I cannot wait to book another session.

First let me start off by saying Cory James is amazingly talented. I couldn’t be happier with session 1 of my tattoo sleeve. I started researching artists in the Austin area, I saw his work online, and immediately knew I wanted his passion and attention to detail for my first tattoo. Being a musician, I wanted something with a few musical elements and so far it’s turning out amazing. He’s such a cool guy, we have the same taste in hip hop music, and spending hours with him while he worked and we listened to hip hop just flew by. My first tattoo experience was a great one. The studio is super clean, and the staff for tattoo prep is friendly and knowledgeable. You absolutely pay for a top quality artist here folks, so if you want the best in Austin, ask for Cory at Lost Edge. Update Aug 10th, Session #2 with Cory was amazing. The sleeve is turning out better than expected. His staff is always so friendly and professional. Update Sept 15/16th, session #3 and #4 with Cory James and I’m so happy. Through the door Stephanie always welcomes you like you’re a part of the Lost Edge family, and always makes you feel right at home. I absolutely love the vibe every time I walk in. Now as far as the update on the tattoo….Never did I imagine the masterpiece Cory is creating. I knew he was good, but I’m blown away by his talent as I watch it in real time. The sleeve is blending a mix of his world and my world and I couldn’t be happier. It’s why I came to him, and I seriously recommend you do too. I can’t wait to share.
