Mainstay Tattoo

Super pleased with the service and quality ink I received from Mando. From the first second I stepped into the shop, he was welcoming and open to working with my design (even though I asked to change it up a few days before...he was all about it!). He was just as excited. about the piece as I was, which was really cool and you don't experience that too often.

What really stood out to me throughout my three sessions was how much emphasis Mainstay puts into customer service. And most importantly, they are proud of their work and not afraid to show it - they take professional pictures after every tattoo, which, as a customer, is super cool and it really makes you feel like the work you got is worth something. So many shops just send you on your way - don't even take a picture with their phone or anything. And that leaves you like "okay, well, I guess mine isn't good enough" or "they must not be proud of it."

So yeah, all around hyped about Mainstay and will absolutely be "back."

One of the best tattoo experiences I have ever had. Staff at Mainstay could not be friendlier. My Man Mando is a Genius. I'd compare him to a modern day Picasso with ink! My girlfriend and I were in Austin on a trip from the Uk and decided to pop into Mainstay. Probably one of the coolest shops I’ve ever been to and we both ended up being tattooed by the brilliant Mando. Clean tattooing with designs that will last. Could not recommend more to locals or those from further afield!

My husband and I were visiting and decided to get tattoos, not planned at all, luckily it was the right time because they were available; my husband’s tattoo was a little more detailed than mine and they explained everything and were very kind! Highly recommend, we will definitely will return.

My husband and I came to Austin on our honeymoon in 2019 and decided to get tattoos! Zack tattooed me and he was amazing. Nothing but great things to say about my experience here. From when I contacted Cory I have received the best costumer care ever. Promptness in answering my emails, easy booking process and friendly but yet professional attitude. The Studio ie spotless and when waiting in the communal area you can spend your time looking at the flashes that are in every wall. On top of everything... Amazing tattoo from Cory (I have seen a few people getting inked by other artists while I was inside and that also seemed great). Highly recommended!
