Josh was thorough, professional, consultative, and extremely kind. He spent time really helping me plan my tattoo (first over email then in person). Resurrection is clean, comfortable, and great atmosphere. Definitely recommend — thank you, Josh!

So I read a few reviews before writing this one. I went in a couple times both times I was ready to get what I wanted. Both times I was told I needed to email in to the artist and show what I wanted done , size and location..i did so...only one replied back as he was better at Aztec art. But when I wrote back to confirm dates and if he could do all 3 in one sitting. I never heard back...and still hadn't heard back from the original one which he told me he would write back..... I see a large number of Walk in's not having any issues....Wondering why I can't get mine done...Hope this is looked at by the owner...i gave 2 stars cause at least they were nice in person....

Nick was the sickest dude. Good conversation and awesome tattoo AND A NEW FRIEND! All in one? Where does that happen anywhere else other than resurrections tattoo shop!! 10 out of 5 starts. Bless up

I got a tattoo done here as a walk in. The tattoo artist name was Nick. He did a good job and recommend him as a tattoo artist. He is pretty quick and right on top of it. He's pretty friendly as well.

Stopped in for a walk in during SXSW with my wife. We both wanted to get something done when we were in town. We talked to Roger who was great. Real nice and professional. He put together a couple designs that we liked. Very smooth tattooing and had good conversations while there. Real clean shop. Has a great classic tattoo shop vibe. Can’t go wrong coming here for any work you are wanting to get done.

Came to Austin from Oregon on vacation and figured I'd get some ink therapy. Gave Justin a sample picture of my idea, but told him to do his own version of it. Came back within two hours later; loved his take on it and he was done in under an hour! And im very happy with the finished product, he was extremely helpful with both tattoo questions as well as just giving me pointers on places to visit while I was in town, highly proffessional, clean as well as just being a straight up rad dude! Would recommend it to anyone in a heart beat. And he plays some badass music! P.S. Bought myself a goatsnake vinyl at Waterloo! Thanks for the recommendation Justin!

I went today for a walk in appointment. The artist Nick was really chill, professional, and nailed my idea. The line work is clean and shading is perfect. He also worked very quickly, which I appreciated. Shop was clean and handled covid well. This was my first tattoo done in Austin, and I have a decent amount of work done. I will definitely be returning!

Best tattoo shop in the state. I have gotten tattoos in Houston and various other places in Austin. Resurrection has tremendous artists and even though Roger didn't do my tattoos, he is the owner and is a great guy.

Clean and beautiful shop with a great staff. Came with a family member on Saturday as a walk-in trying to squeeze it in between our other plans for the day, but Roger and Nick were willing to make us appointments and come in on a Sunday to best accommodate us. They did a perfect job of capturing our ideas and putting it to ink and charged incredibly fairly. 10/10, thanks y’all!
