I would definitely recommend Vice and Virtue! I got a piece done I had been wanting to get for a while now. Paolo went above and beyond, he exceeded my exceptions Beyond what i could have imagined! The shop was really clean and had a nice modern look. The work they do here is incredible. I will for sure be back here for my next tattoo. This will be the spot I tell anyone asking about a tattoo to go to! Thanks again Paolo for the amazing piece and for staying till almost 1am to complete it!

Edit two years later: I have since been here and had Paolo finish a half sleeve. The amount of detail that he added was absurd. I got a nature landscape style piece done, and everything was perfect. Somehow, Paolo added reflections from the lake in the scene that reflected the mountain above. Super professional, very kind, and a wicked artist. If you’re going to have something on you for the rest of your life, make sure it’s damn good and will hold up. Paolo is one of the best in the business, book him. I promise.. you won’t regret it.

Can’t say enough great things about this shop! I showed up a little early, and Nathan was super friendly and welcoming. Paolo did my tattoo and knocked it out of the park- it’s exactly what I wanted and he had great suggestions for placement and modifying it to suit my body. The space feels high end, they have an amazing vegan tattoo balm... if you want a legit, well-designed, well-executed black and gray tattoo from an awesome artist, this is your spot.

Nate is a professional and so is his work. The shop is clean and welcoming, and everyone was friendly from start to finish. Nate did a great job of explaining his process and the tattoo turned out great. My piece requires 2 sessions and I'm excited to get back in and see the finished product. There were two other artists working the day I was there, and their tattoos looked awesome as well. I would highly recommend Nate or any of the artists at Vice and Virtue.

I absolutely love my new Tenley dog tattoo done by @paologrippo at viceandvirtuetattoo in Austin, texas. 😁 My dogs are my world and are very beautiful. I'm glad I went with a sweet looking picture of her.
When getting a tattoo, you can't just go to anyone; you have to do lots of research and pick out the best Tattooer for the job. That's what I did.
Here is both the concept photo and a photo of the work in progress. The tattoo is 90% finished, and I go back on the 18 of February to get the rest finished. Like the highlights and golden brown eyes.
