Tattooed Empire

Very disappointed in my experience. I went in a week ago had a tattoo done. Never had a full color tattoo so I didn't complain about the pain figured it was normal. The artist kept wiping the ink and blood off with a dry napkin. Needless to say when I was done my skin was raw. The tattoo looked nice but that was due to all the swelling. I took pictures and realized he had overworked the tattoo. As the days went by the swelling went down but not the redness. The tattoo kept looking worse. Literally looked like I had holes in my skin. I called left an urgent message (as I was out of town) on what I could put on it and got no response. I was given no aftercare instructions, it wasn't wrapped. Something that was ment to be so special to me was ruined and now I'm left with something ugly and I can't even hide it.

I went here to get cartilage piercings with my boyfriend, and the man who does the piercing gave off a hostile vibe. I tried to stay positive because I wanted to get my piercings done but right off the bat, he told us the wait wasn't long so we just went outside for a little and came back in 10 minutes later. Then he asks us if we're paying with card or cash because they're only taking cash right now so we had to go to the bank to get cash out. He took a copy of my ID for records and printed out a few papers for me to fill out and left them their on the counter, and walked over to the tattoo seats without saying anything or walking me through anything. So i saw my ID on the counter and the papers and I asked 'do I fill these out?' and he responds with just 'yeah'. Once I sit down I tell him what I want and he draws the marks on my ear and I thought it was too low at first, so I asked him to adjust it a couple times and I had a couple questions and the more I asked I felt as if he was getting more impatient. Finally after having like 3 trials of drawing where I wanted it, I made my final decision and told him okay let's just do it like this, he was very rude and said, 'that's literally what I had originally, why didn't you just keep it the way the first time I drew it?' and at that point I didn't know what to say, cause that's just so rude. So whatever, I got my piercings done and so did my bf, and they're was no receipt given. Need i remind you, my attitude never once changed and I felt like I was very positive the whole time and I thanked him for my piercing because I do like the way it turned out. But there was zero customer service and it shouldn't be that way at all. If a customer comes in, they should walk them through and explain and be patient if they have questions, not act like they're annoyed or that the customer is a burden. What's the point of opening a business if you're going to act like that. Bad experience and won't be going there again. End of story.

i got 2 piercings here and i was happy with my experience. the shop is super nice and i love modern look to it. the guy who does the piercings is chill as hell. everything was packaged, sterile and opened in front of me. i will definitely go back for future piercings. ✌🏼

Loved my experience at Tattooed Empire. Neal helped me pick out a design that was fun and fit the idea I had in my mind, and then he tweaked it to make it even more unique and different. It’s a small shop so I never felt overwhelmed or uncomfortable, and I absolutely love the way my tattoo turned out.

This shop is amazing. The cleanest shop I have seen in the area.
Neal is an amazing artist, His tattoo work and artistic ability blew me away. If you are looking for a great tattoo that will last you a lifetime, I would highly recommend Tattooed Empire.

I have nothing but GREAT things to say about the artists, location and tattoos itself. Over the past couple of months Neal has been adding and adding more and more ink to my body. Hours and hours of work and pain, and why put myself through all that? Quite simple, the atmosphere is amazing, the artists keep the mood lite, prices are great and the tattoo work is next level. Pain and time really don't matter if you're at the right place; Tattooed Empire is where ya wanna go.

I’ve been going to this amazing studio since the year it opened! And I have to say the best choice I ever did on picking a tattoo shop! And I’ve been there EVER since! Neal and Bebo are amazing, and the Tattooed Empire Family continues to grow! Getting amazing new artists and getting great artists from different areas in for guest spots! The only tattoo shop I’ll ever go to, hands down! This shop is the BEST in Brownsville, TX!!!!!

I’m not sure where to start, but this shop is awesome! The artists there are very knowledgeable and professional. If you’re looking for quality work look no further. I got a sleeve done by bebo and will definitely go back for future tattoos.

I think this could have been the best first tattoo experience ! Neal was super cool, made me feel not one bit of nervousness. He further than what I was anticipating and I really appreciate that. Awesome place!

Excellent work!!! I've taken my daughter to have 2 piercings done. Bebo has done an awesome job. I wouldn't trust anyone else. The new shop is beautiful and always very clean.
