Legacy Tattoo Lounge

I go to Legacy pretty regularly to get pierced and soon I'll hopefully be going to get tattooed there regularly too once I rise above my student induced poverty. The shop and the people are awesome. I first went in for my septum in July of 2020 and since then I think I've gotten something like 15 piercings since. I mostly go to Essie because of when I can get to the shop, but I have piercings from Vick and Nate too! They all do a great job and I've never had any healing issues. I've also gotten tattooed by Kara and Jennifer and haven't had a bad experience yet (they did a great job of explaining specific area aftercare for my tatts). They have this magical power of making me feel better and more like me every time I go in for some work. I would definitely recommend this shop for fast, quality and professional work!

I would have given five stars but when we came in we needed help with my daughters tattoo because something had changed. They made me feel like I was judging them and came off abrasive and condescending. She did not get the tattoo there but instead of listening to the customer a couple of the artist kept talking over me. Finally I just shut my mouth and let them talk. After that she got her nose pierced and I had a new one placed. The lady that did the piercing was very sweet and professional. We never received her business card to call if there were any problems. My daughter's piercing has done great but mine appeared to be infected slightly I had no way of calling and asking for the lady the did the piercing because I did not know who she was. I could have described her but it would have been better to have had her card my piercing worked itself out so in the end I didn't need to call but I would have liked to have given her a good review personally.

Staff is friendly but the shop has raised their prices and give absurd quotes for tattoos. Simple line work designs I’ve been told need to be “way bigger” to look decent on me. I’ve been given a quote of $280 for a 2 inch tattoo by legacy, left and went to ink dreams and received a quote of $60 for the same tattoo. I also got my navel pierced in the shop one night. I felt the piercer did not show any care in the world for me, as their priority was looking at all the “cute new belly piercings” that the shop just received. I stated afterwards the piercing that I was going to black out and was physically holding onto the furniture in the room to stay upright. Her back stayed turned to me and she quickly stated to keep it clean and come back if anything happens, then said bye and called the next customers in. I went to the bathroom to try and pull myself together and not pass out in the main part of the shop. I hate leaving discouraging reviews but I have not had a single really good experience at legacy, I’d rather go to ink dreams

Randall was my artist and he knocked it out of the park. He made me feel super comfortable and confident with my tattoo! Couldn’t be any happier. I’d highly recommend giving this shop a call and asking for Randall.

Vick and Essie are both amazing. Essie has done all of my piercings and she executes them flawlessly every time! 10/10 Vick helped me changed my jewelry and make it look perfect. I was having some issues with healing my piercings and she gave some amazing advice. They are looking amazing now. Both women are so kind, patient, and welcoming. Come here for your piercings please!!!

I always have such an amazing experience at Legacy. Essie is absolutely amazing and never fails to make me feel comfortable!! The shop is incredibly clean all around. All of the piercers are also so knowledgeable, and I have had other friends get piercings from the other piercers and they always have such great things to say! Definitely a great place to go for piercings!

I want to like this place more but unfortunately my nipple piercings were done too deep and the jewelry given was too short. At first I wanted to keep them and just change the jewelry, but it's unlikely they'll heal well because of the placement. I ended up going to a shop in Austin for a second opinion and plan to get them taken out and redone. :(

Great shop and great atmosphere and the tattoo artist are are great artist and are excellent and very knowledgeable at the process and showed much respect. I have had 3 tattoos done here and will have more . Also had my ears pierced twice at this shop and they have showed great respect and extremely knowledgeable on the way do there piercings.

Everyone there was so cool! Definitely best tattoo shop experience I’ve ever had! Chris did my tattoo and he was amazing and so friendly, 10/10 recommend!

Got my helix pierced about 30 minutes ago, and it was such an awesome experience! Essie was super quick and it didn't hurt nearly as much as I thought it was going to. Essie did an amazing job and I'm so happy with my piercing. The vibe in this place is amazing and I will definitely be back!! It was $35 before tip, and I've seen higher prices at chain places like Icing. HIGHLY recommend, even if you're a poor college student :)
