I got the sniffles and went to the doctor. He said, “You are in perfect health; maybe the healthiest person I’ve seen in this room....but that tattoo,” he said, looking up from his chart and over his glasses. “That tattoo is just too sick widdit.” And he left.
Andrew is the chief! Sick coverup design over a largish older one I’ve been wanting to demolish for years now. Colors are on point and the whole experience was fantastic. Highly recommend Andrew.

Chris is amazing and has done multiple tattoos for me so far. He works with my ideas and helps me make them into something great! I've also gotten my 3rd hole piercings here and the piercer (I forgot his name) is super professional and precise. I don't have any plans to go anywhere else for my art.

I went in as a first timer and wanted to do something small but meaningful after the loss of my best friend. Eric was the artist and even though he seems serious, he is very nice and dedicated to his work. I like that they out line what you want and show it to you for your approval. It was fast and easy. I had a good experience overall.

To say these gentlemen are artists is a disservice, Tyler, Spiro, Andrew, are exceptional at what they do.

Tyler is my main artist, I have received four different pieces and they are all some wonderful and each a little different style.

I promise you won't be disappointed, go see the guys, they are awesome.

The only guy who ever hurt me and i enjoyed it!
Tyler did two brilliant and meaningful coverups on tattoos that i had hated for a long time! Together we came up with a design that was meaningful to me .
The experience was great from start to finish! Hes proffessional , meticulous and so interesting that i forgot where i was and the time flew by!
Definitely breaks the mould of a stereo typical tattooist! ( apart from the dodgy facial hair)
There is no one else id ever go to again!
artistic genius.... and yes he does know it!

Seriously the only artist I will ever get work from again is Tyler Turnbull. His shop is also the nicest and most comfortable environment I have ever gotten work done in. He is worth the drive from anywhere in TX, or worth the flight from any other state you may be coming from.

I give this tat studio 5stars because Tyler did a great job of carving exactly the portrait I gave him- Sweet Jesus Christ: My Lord & Savior. However below is my pros & cons per my genuine personal experience-

Pros: Friendly welcome, Nice and neat shop, kind gentleman, professional, beautiful interior decor, decent pricing and Great tattoo job with seasoned talents. Thank you Tyler for my beautiful Jesus Christ portrait on my arm 🥰👍😍

Cons: No after care instructions nor post-procedure expectations guidelines for newbies like me. If you're getting a tattoo for the first time, you'll need to figure it out yourself after you get tattooed here. The first night I wasn't sure if I should shower or not or how to sleep and on all that... I reached out to Tyler asking for after care instructions as I recalled he never gave me any at the shop as he was busy with another client. However, he told me that there's none, that I should just take off the wrap on the 5th day and that's it. I learned you're suppose to be given some sort of ointment after getting a tattoo but I didnt get any. I even asked but he told me that they don't give anything like that and there's nothing I need to do rather than take off the wrap after 5 days... Healing down time was unclear and not stated nor suggested. The letters on my arm all got smeared up after my first night sleep and I have no idea what to do. My arm has been badly itching from the 3rd day to today (being the fifth day) but I'm unsure of what to do and if this is normal as he insists that there's no after care instructions & I never knew what to expect afterwards. So I will suggest you get after care instructions from a different tattoo artist after getting a tattoo with Artistic Impressions. My husband is currently heading to his mom's old tattoo artist of 35 years to help me get after care instructions / find out what best to use for proper healing as I was originally scarred on my current tattoo spot.

SUGGESTION/FEEDBACK:
If Artistic Impressions as a business can develop a single-sheet after care instructions and post-procedure expectation guidelines for their clients, that would be fantastic and leave their business with Zero Cons as this will greatly benefit first timers with no tattoo experience!

I did a lot of searching and browsing of portfolios before deciding to go with Tyler. He and Adam are pretty cool guys. It's a laid back environment, and the shop is super clean. Tyler did an awesome job, and I'll definitely be going back for any future work.

I was a "first-timer " when I came in a couple of weeks ago with my idea for my first tattoo. Andrew helped me get the idea out of my head on to paper and a bit later onto my foot. I absolutely love it!!!! He was very patient with me through the whole process and talked me out of my nervousness! My sister and I are coming again in a couple weeks and I can't wait!!

Could not have had a better experience! The shop was extremely clean, and I felt comfortable the entire time. My artist was friendly, a joy to work with, and super talented. HIGHLY reccomend.
