Artistic Encounter

I work in customer service as a manager of a hospital, and I have to say this tattoo studio was the most unprofessional customer service experience I have ever had.

Last week I had a appointment with Jade on June 7th. I message her 6 times on Instagram, which was the only communication she gave me. 30 minutes before our appointment she said yes I can still do it. I live in McKinney TX, they are located in Dallas. So I thought about getting in my Jeep and hauling down there. I didn’t know they couldn’t accept cards I start to drive there, and she says we only accept cash. So we have to reschedule for June 13th.

June 13th comes I haven’t heard anything from Jade. My appointment was at 4 I message her multiple times, and get nothing. I ask for the exact address nothing, so I get it on the website. I get there at 4PM and she is working on someone else. The receptionist was kind and said it should be 45 minutes, but Jade wants to know what work you will be doing with her today? Folks we have been messaging for 2 Weeks how does she not know what work we are doing??!!

So I wait an hour and message her again saying I’m still here. I go to my Jeep, and she is walking around with the receptionist in the back, and has viewed my message, but can’t even reply. So I send another message saying I’m here I guess you’re too busy? She read it and nothing. Worst service ever.

Known these guys and been coming here for years, all the way back to the Greenville Ave. location and, they're some of the best in the industry! Love this newer locations feel and locale, being right by Elm St. Every artist I've spoken to has a niche, or style that is different from everyone else in the shop. But with that being said- they are still extraordinarily versatile in their abilities and can switch gears and styles to match the desired outcome in an instant. Jeremieh is my go to guy, but I'll let any of em make me bleed ;B

Amazing and helpful staff. Went to get septum pierced but after examining, they suggested that I shouldnt, so instead I got my industrial and some holes repierced.

Incredibly knowledgeable and experienced (not to mention award winning) tattoo artists all here to help you with your "ink goals". This shop is always clean and pristine. Convenient location, hard to miss. Will always recommend.

Khan is very knowledgeable, kind and professional. I went to ask about a keloid on a daith I had done a few months prior at a different shop. He took his time asking my about the piercing and was VERY thorough with care recommendations. Felt genuinely cared for and confident after leaving th shop.

Fen knocked it out with my latest piece. Four hours of grinding away for something truly beautiful. I am absolutely blown away with the realism. The entire staff was courteous, the shop was clean and well kept. I won't go anywhere else in Dallas again. I will try to post pictures when it heals.

I've been to multiple tattoo studios throughout the country. I can say Artistic Encounter Tattoo is the nicest/cleanest studio hands down. I went with 4 friends all to get tattoos by Alex Arango. All of us have multiple tattoos by very talented artists. Alex is extremely talented with a light hand that blew us all away with our tattoos. While waiting I chatted with the friendly staff and the owner of the studio Billy Jack. My hats off to Billy Jack on what he has done with his studio and the staff of Artistic Encounter Tattoo. The bar is set so high I doubt I'll go anywhere else for my future tattoos. My friends and I already have our next tattoos in mind for Alex.

I just Had my tattoo done by Alex “dreadlock” overfelt. 7 hour session for 600 and the art work was absolutely amazing! Staff is friendly and clean. Everything was sterilized Nicely and very clean. I’m a paramedic intern and trust me, it was very clean. Can’t thank Alex enough!

Helpful people, super clean shop. I popped in just to replace a piece of jewelry I had to take out of an old piercing a couple weeks prior, and needed help choosing one based on some weird needs. I couldn't get the jewelry in myself as I'd planned, and the fellow who helped me (dark short hair, mandala on his hand) ended up doing a slight repiercing of the same hole - it had already started closing up, even with my putting straight-post earrings through it - and seemed grateful even accepting just a tip for his help. He gave me easy suggestions on how to help it heal, and didn't try to upsell me on products or anything. I'd recommend them just based on how well they treated this low-dollar customer!

Dom has done 2 tattoos on me and 2 on my husband, she is super chill, made me feel so comfortable during my tattoo. This is one of the cleanest shops I've ever been in. We will be back to get more ink from her.
