Alexander was amazing! He created an original design based on the image I brought in that I am absolutely in love with. You can tell he is passionate about his work and loves what he does! This was my first tattoo, so I was pretty nervous, but he was super patient with me and checked in throughout the process. I am THRILLED with the results and would definitely go again!!

I love the vibe and feel of this place! An amazing tattoo studio for custom ONE OF A KIND art work! This is NOT your momma's flash art mass produced tattoo sweat shop. I appreciate how they sit down and work with you to create your ideal tattoo piece. They talk to you; they never talk down to you. As long as you effectively communicate you will always end up with a piece that you love. I've gotten roughly 20 tattoos here and I'll keep going back.

I made an appt to get my tattoo for last Saturday. When I got there the place was closed and no one was inside. I called multiple times with no answer and finally messaged them on Instagram where they told me that they had been exposed to COVID and would be closed for a few days. A courtesy call to your customers would have been nice before I drove over an hour to this place. Or even a sign on the door stating that they are closed. There was nothing. I waiting over half an hour at the place. I was very disappointed as this place has great reviews and I was looking forward to getting the work done there.
Update: I did not get an email from the artist saying anything about you being closed. It is ridiculous that you are trying to preserve your presence to your customers by lying. I did not get any heads up that you would be closed via email or phone call.

Juan was the best tattoo artist ever! He took me in as a walk in and finished my tattoo in 15 minutes. He was really friendly and easy to make conversation with and made sure I was completely satisfied before starting. I went in on a whim but will definitely be coming for future tattoos!

Black Heart Studios is an awesome place to get a tattoo, especially if you like doing things spur of the moment like myself! They gladly accept walk-ins & actually have their artists in the shop always busy, & willing to take you in as well! So many places don't do this anymore & have an empty shop during operating hours! So disappointing... What's the point of that, right? Juan V. is an Amazing artist, can do anything, but his Realism work is off the chart! Was so kind, Station was very clean, he was fast also! Worked with my image to make it even better that it was when I brought it in & did so completely by freehand due to the image being so small it was blurred. It came out so much better than the pic I brought! Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed! All the art I saw being done that night was great from All the artists! They'll be honest & let you know if they need to make changes or if something won't work, you can trust their artists, can't go wrong here! (He has a much better pic in his portfolio) Check it out on their website! Sorry for the novel, there's just so many good things to say!! Will definitely be going back soon to start my sleeve!
