The owner is incredibly egotistical and massively into hearing himself spout his own generically unoriginal ideas under the guise of being an intellectual. His work is good, but it’s something you could get done elsewhere either with way less headache involved. As his younger brother, he’s offered me free tattoos for years and I turn them down because the mental toll of being around him is higher than just paying someone else to do the same work for me.

My daughter and I had Alexander create our ideas into a tattoo that we both wanted. (I have been promising her a tattoo since before her 16th birthday. She is 23 now and we waited for her health reasons...) My daughter is a "Go Big or Go Home" type of person so we had the entire back of our calf done in matching tattoos. We were not forthcoming about this being her first tattoo either.... Alexander was wonderful!! My daughter and myself LOVE our tattoo. We spent all day there and will go back for the coloring in a couple of weeks. The detail is amazing!! Not only was Alexander gentle, he was extraordinarily patient with my daughter, Ashby, as she underestimated what a large tattoo would take out of a person. Even though this was my second, it was my first large tattoo. Alexander was kind, laid back, patient and of course he is an AMAZING artist! Book Alexander right away! I will add pictures and details of our 2nd appointment for the color once it is done.

BTW.. the staff that was in the office that day was super funny and friendly! I did a lot of research prior to picking Black Hearts Studios and Alexander and I can not be happier with my choice. Alexander will be our tattoo artist forever if we can help it! Thank you!!!

Alexander is not only a super talented artist but also was very patient, friendly, yet professional. Prices were great definitely worth it. I’m super in love with my tattoo! Definitely 10/10 would recommend!

I don't normally write a review online, but I felt that I needed to write one for my experience at Black Heart Studios. Jeremiah is a great tattoo artist. He did an amazing job on my tat and I absolutely love it! It took almost 3 hours and he was very patient with me when I started to get a little antsy at the end. His lines are on point and the detail is perfect! Thank you so much Jeremiah for the amazing work! I will definitely be back for more!!!

Jesse is the best! He did a fantastic job on both my sister and I’s small tattoos. Definitely will be back! We had a good time and good conversation. He’s personality was definitely refreshing! Don’t get that often anymore.

Jeremiah is a fantastic, tattoo artist! You can really tell tattooing is his passion! Everyone at Black Heart Studios was very friendly and welcoming! I was happy to see nerdy tattoos like Pikachu. The studio was very clean and awesome looking inside! I had a great time conversing with the people, and I will go back for my next tattoo. I would highly recommend going here! Everyone was professional and welcoming!

I gave my phone number to Juan to talk about potential tattoos I had in mind. Turns out, he was a total creep, was just constantly trying to flirt with me and get in my pants. Anytime I tried to bring up tattoos, he would just avoid it and talk about potential dates. Would blow up my phone all hours of the night wondering what I was doing. Super unprofessional, I had to end up blocking him and going to another studio to get my work done. Avoid Juan at all costs.

Alexander was great!! Very professional and made me feel comfortable and relaxed the entire time. Best tattoo experience I've had. Definitely recommend!
