I got a conch piercing and rook piercing at this place in October of 2021. I have been too much of a baby to leave an imperfect review, but I feel like I would like to mention a few things that I would have liked to have known about this place before I got pierced here.

1. They use externally threaded jewelry. When I initially got my piercings I did not know that externally threaded jewelry could damage and tear the tissues around your piercing hole when you take the jewelry out or put it in. I also did not know whether my jewelry was externally threaded or not until I took it out to downsize to a smaller bar, which leads me to my next point.
2. Downsizing can be a vital part for the healing process of a piercing, especially for something like the conch. If you do not, your piercing can heal crooked, or it can cause different types of irritations. However, downsizing was not mentioned on their website or in person.
3. I was also not told the gauge that my piercings would be pierced at, which made me nervous when I had to purchase new jewelry for downsizing.
4. I think that this part is the most important which is that that the piercer did not check if I had the right anatomy for my piercings before she agreed to do them. I can understand that with the conch, but rook piercings can reject, and they can already be hard enough to heal. Ever since I got my rook piercing, it has been swollen, which I am not going to blame the shop for, but I do think that it is important that the piercer checks before agreeing to do the piercing. I am hoping that if I did not have the right anatomy that the piercer would not have continued piercing me, but I can't be 100% sure.
5. I also believe that it is important to discuss with your client the healing process and any certain concerns before the piercing is done. Although some people are educated on piercings, others do not know what the healing process might entail, or they might not know the correct questions to ask. It would be disappointing to find out that your piercing might take 1 year to heal after you have already gotten it if you didn't know that beforehand, but that is just my recommendation.

I don't want it to seem like this place is completely bad, I just feel like there is room for improvement. My actual experience with them was quite pleasant. Everyone there was really nice and welcoming, and like other reviews mentioned, this place is very clean and well put together. I have never had such a great experience with a piercing shop before! The surrounding location of the shop as well seems very progressive, cool, and fun. It felt like I was in Los Angeles over there! I hope nobody takes this review the wrong way, I just felt like these things have been bugging me and I wanted to mention it. I do wish this shop well.

A truly wonderful place to get tattooed! The staff is so friendly, welcoming and helpful. I had many of the staff come over and view another artist’s work and said such positive things! It’s such an incredible place to be and experience a tattoo. Prices are very reasonable for the area and skill sets of the artists. They are meticulously cleaned and sanitized between each client, and staff uses masks and social distances. I feel extremely safe and welcome here. I’m itching for my next piece!

After visiting several tattoo stores in the Dallas area I chose this location. Very happy with my tattoo work. Zack did my ink work, solid guy and great tattoo artist. They also do piercings at this location.

Although I did have a bad first experience with the shop, the owner Char did everything she could to make it right. Great shop, awesome people, great location. Clean, everyone is welcoming. I just went back for my second tatoo with them (different tattooist)and give Zach 5 stars hands down. Would give more if I could! Have another appointment with him in August! Keep up the good work!

I came here to get my vertical labret pierced about a year ago and it was an awesome experience! I had a little issue with my bar not being long enough but Tearanie met me at the shop on her day off and changed my bar to a longer one with no issues. Oh and I still have my piercing it healed perfectly :) this a great shop so if you’ve been looking for a great piercer just stop here and head on over there lol

This is my second time seeing Tearanie here. As usual, the shop is clean, professional and just an enjoyable experience. Definitely would recommend to anyone.

The artists here are incredibly talented. I’ve had 4 sessions so far, and I really appreciate how simple their process is when you arrive and have an appointment. I’m happy to be a client of Gold Dust and the work that Char has done with my tattoo so far is amazing.

Was in Dallas for Thanksgiving. My 17 year old daughter wanted to get her belly button pierced. She googled places she could do this at and Gold Dust came up and had great reviews. We called and drove over. VERY professional, clean, cool place in a cool neighborhood. Was very efficient and quick. My daughter is afraid of needles and I think she's now cured!!

Gold Dust is an amazing tattoo shop. Great service and friendly people, all of whom make you fee comfortable.

The shop itself and all of the workstations are obviously kept very clean and sterile, and it is apparent that safety is a #1 concern.

All of the artists are unique and fantastic in their own right, super chill, friendly and easy to talk to.

I had my piece done by Moses, and I really can't say enough good things about the experience. From the consult, to booking to execution, Moses was the consummate professional and just a mind blowing artist.

Moses took an idea, which was vague at best, and turned it into a unique, beautiful piece of art which I am very proud to display. He talked with me through the entire process to ensure his design and ideas were in line with what I was wanting. His consistent follow up during recovery and after care went above and beyond. All in all a superb experience which I will be doing again!

Moses is the best tattoo artist ever and I am not being biased. :) He is really good at listening to what you want and producing exactly what you ask for. He did a coverup tattoo for me that turned out way better than I imagined. He also did another wrist tattoo for me and I get compliments on it every day. Also, he is really nice and patient. I am super lucky to have found him. If I could give more than five stars, I would.
