My experience at Lady Magnolia Tattoo was phenomenal! The shop is very clean, everyone there is super friendly and happy to see you. Briana was my tattoo artist and I absolutely love the piece she designed for me. I waited close to a year to get on her table (shout out to COVID!), and the piece I received was definitely worth the wait. I love Briana’s vibe, she is receptive to feedback and truly loves getting to know her clients. You can tell she’s passionate about her work and the people she tattoos. I can’t wait to see her and everyone else at LMT again soon :)
Updated review 9/3/2021: To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. I’ve been coming to LMT for the past year and have recommended everyone I know to visit. That will be changing immediately.
I made an appointment with Bri back in July to come in yesterday. Yesterday before my appt, she texted me telling me she was running behind and to come in later, which was fine. I know things can run behind and appreciated the clear communication. When I came in at the new time, she was wrapping up with her client. I completed my intake form at her request and waited to be told to come back. However, Bri proceeded to help someone else who was there with the game machine so they could select their piece(s). Even went so far as to bust out the power drill to fix the machine so the client could play the game properly and win different options. She barely glanced at me nor did she tell me that she was going to be tattooing that client first. Mind you, she told me she would be ready for me at 5:30, and I came on time. Once my in-studio wait exceeded an hour for my appointment, I walked out. I texted her letting her know we should reschedule but as of the following morning, I haven’t received a response. No apology, nothing.
If she had been clear about how far behind she was, I would have respected her more. Instead, she chose to ignore me and disrespect two hours of my time, so she lost a loyal client in the process. And the fact that she still hasn’t followed up with me shows that she doesn’t care.
