My wife and I have both gotten tattoos here a couple of times. The first time was just as walk-ins while on a vacation, but we liked the experience and tattoos so much that we planned a trip from Indiana just to have more work done. Awesome shop, will definitely make another trip to Dallas to have more done.

Got my first tattoo here on 15 Oct 22. They were super personable from the time I called to the time I sat down to get my work done. My artist Chelsea did an AMAZING JOB and even went the extra mile to make some minor improvements to the original design (excellent attention to detail). The atmosphere is great! They are my go to for tattoo work now

Elliot was very rude and unprofessional. It’s okay to try to educate someone but straight up telling us no to what we want because HE doesn’t think it will look good, is not how I wanted my 21st birthday outing to go. He then tried to refuse to give us back the $500 we gave him before deciding to try somewhere else after not even being in the shop for 10 minutes, and ironically wouldn’t show us on the sign in sheet where it supposedly said no refunds. He continuously talked down on mine and my boyfriends other tattoos pretty much the whole time we were there. Will not be returning.

My sister came in from out of town and we initially were going to Elm street for their "get what you get" gumball machine. The line was long, shop is small and not great communication. We called Taboo and was informed they have a fishbowl for get what you get tattoos for $200. The shop is nice sized, clean and the staff was so much more friendly. We had four people and turn around time was great from walk in to chair. Definitely recommend and will be back

My friend and I had went on a Sunday right at open and as soon as we had walked in it was a great atmosphere and very clean. The front desk employee was very helpful and came to help us immediately. We were able to get in a schedule and was able to get some work done that day. My artist was Cody Biggs and he was super professional and made sure I was comfortable the whole time I was getting work done. The work he had done was fantastic and I was so pleased with the work I had done. The vibes in the shop were great and I had such a fun time while I was there. He is a very talented artist and same with everyone in the shop. I highly recommend this place and every artist is great to go to. I will definitely be back to get some more work done in the future.

My husband and I got tattoos to celebrate my Birthday. We walked by several other tattoo shops in the area but when we walked by Taboo Tattoo, we were automatically drawn to the shop. The exterior was inviting but not to be out done by the interior. The shop was spacious and inviting. The wall art was beautiful! I knew this is where we should get my tattoos. The guy at the front had impeccable customer service. He answered all our questions and gave advice as needed. Cody Biggs, the owner did my tattoo and I could not have been more impressed! The way he took my idea and turned it in to something that totally exceeded my expectations, that is true art. Bryan Adam did my husband’s tattoo and again, totally exceeded my expectations! We will definitely be going back for our next tattoo and will refer the shop to all our friends and family. Our tattoos aren’t even fully healed and we are so in love with the look! Thank you Cody and to the entire Taboo Tattoo shop, it’s like we’re part of your family now 🙏🏼

Cool place, the guy who did my friends piercing told me to put my phone away now and that its not allowed very rudly and mean mugged me when he could've just asked nicely. Ruined the whole experience and vibe so if you want professionalism and experience recorded/pics don't go here.

They take pride on being personable, and it is 100% truly felt. No judgement on the type of tattoo, all encouragement to make it yours. Biggs made my theory come to life for a tattoo with so much more than I had expected. Great conversation and music to boot! All of this and I was a simple walk-in from Colorado. I WILL be back.
