She is by far the best tattoo artist I have ever encountered, and I have encountered many. She is patient, funny, and authentic. I felt welcome, and she answered my questions before and during my session. She created the best tattoo I have on my body, and without her creative mind/input, I would not have this work of art on me. If you are ever considering getting a tattoo, GO TO HER! You will not be disappointed.

I just got my first tattoo done at 1up ink with The Mad Tatter and I am nearly speechless at the experience.
For starters, all of the other tattoo artists are very nice, very professional, and make you feel super welcome. Mad Tatter included. She was super down to earth and pretty funny. She eases any nerves you might have before getting the tattoo with just her aura.
Being my first time, I was a little shaky and a little tense at the pain, but she did everything she could to make sure I was comfortable and it made the experience a lot more palatable. And then the tattoo design itself was immaculate. The detail is insane and you can tell she puts 110% in her work. It came out better than I expected and I will definitely be back to 1Up because of how amazing she is.
So if you want to get a tattoo at a nice, clean, and reputable shop, with an amazing atmosphere, great artists, and a nice fun experience, make sure you go to 1Up Ink in Dallas. You won't regret it.

I found Jax on TikTok and I just knew I wanted her to do the next piece that I wanted. She was very welcoming and friendly , and the work she did was amazing! This tattoo she did was really important to me , because those who know what a Medusa tattoo means , then you know . I’ve gotten so many compliments on it and what makes this piece even better , is that the Medusa is a self portrait and it looks exactly like me. Definitely will be coming back in the future!

If I could give 10 stars I would! Very professional and work mirrors that. She made sure the drawing was something I would like and changed it to my liking. Most artist are late and take tons of breaks but not her and that’s under appreciated. I’ll for sure be back to finish my anime leg sleeve… book with her!!!
