Blue Rose Tattoo Studio

I had a few tattoos done when this was Elite Tattoo years ago and moved back to the area and realized it had changed to Blue Rose. I was told by a few people not to go here, but I went in to check them out anyway and looked at the portfolios of the artists they had available and was impressed. Customer service was a little stiff but since I liked the work I saw, I went forward with scheduling an appointment since I wasn't paying them to be friendly.

On the day of my appointment, not only did the artist have a very vague recollection of me (okay, they're busy, no big deal), but the artwork I'd asked for was not what he'd drawn. I realized we had a miscommunication so we worked out what I wanted and went forward with it. I could tell he was pretty irritated so I asked if he'd like to reschedule but he declined. Throughout my session, he mostly complained about his co-workers and seemed apathetic about the work I was having done. I was not happy at all with my completed tattoo, but was far too uncomfortable to mention it after the frustration from our initial miscommunication and his attutide throughout my session. I cannot say that the business as a whole is unsatsifactory or unprofessional as this was a single incident and I only had communicaiton between reception and the artist who did my work, but I did not like the experience of my limited interactions.

I absolutely take accountability for my part in my disatisfcation with my tattoo and not being completely honest that I was unhappy with the work. I was open to trying another artist to have it corrected, but once I saw how the owner responded to poor reviews, I was completely turned off from having work done here again. I realize losing a single customer doesn't matter whatsoever, but word-of-mouth about this place is very poor from people I've asked for recommendations so I know this is not enitrely on me.

My husband and I got tattoos of each others names, Glad we chose this place. Clean, friendly staff & Pork Chop did a great job!!! He was fast, friendly, and made sure we were comfortable. Love the way he put his own artistic spin on our tattoos & gave it character and it turnt out beautiful. My husband loved his tattoo also.

Rabbit/Carlee is amazingly talented and fun to be around. i always have a great time getting work done by her. i’ve had both tattoos and piercings done by her and they’ve all healed beautifully with no complications. the shop has a fun, chill atmosphere and everyone there has amazing work.

Blue Rose Tattoo Studio is the best! I got my 1st helix and 3rd lobe piercings from Tex after reading all her glowing reviews. She did not disappoint - my piercings were painless and she patiently talked me through the process to help calm my nerves.

And Dro (Pedro) is an incredible artist. I wanted a tattoo in memory of my best friend & brother who died a few months ago. Dro took my ideas and created the most stunning tattoo that was beyond my expectations.

The other tattoo artists there are great too...my oldest son has already gotten two tattoos from them & will be going back in a couple of weeks for another one.

If you're in the market for piercings or tattoos, this is the place to go. Highly recommend & will definitely be back.

Stopped by today and Dro swapped out my nose hoop for a stud since it wasn't healing and that's what a different shop put in when it was pierced. He was super cool and easy to talk with. He had me fixed up in no time. The kid working the front was really nice and knowledgeable too! I'll be back for future piercings for sure.

Lo, tattoo artist and shop owner, is very talented and professional. Shop is clean, sanitary, professional yet laid back. Great artists here!!!!

I also went back later and got two piercings from Emma and she was great! Very informative and helped me choose a unique piercing that would work with my ear shape. Sanitary, professional work!

Came in to add two cartilage piercing to my one. Customer service was great. Clean equipment and was done quickly. The next day after my piercing, I realized they were visibly uneven. I contacted them about it, and they were very nice about everything and helped me get it fixed. I'd come here again. Just take extra measures to check the dots yourself, I might've been too nonchalant the first time. 🤷‍♀️

Came here to get paired nostril piercings. The piercer made sure to get it as even as possible, changing the markings a few times to get the best look. After getting my approval for the piercing sites, she was quick to get the needle through and the jewelry in. Everything was clean and the staff friendly. Would definitely recommend to others.

Blue Rose is a nice, chill tattoo shop! I really enjoyed my time spent there. My tattoo artist made sure I was comfortable through out my session and did an AWESOME AWESOME job on my tattoo!! With no doubt I will be going back to this place and I would highly recommend this shop for your next tattoo or piercing as well!! :)

Lo and the gang was awesome. Enjoyed my time spend there in conversation with Lo and his crew. As an artist Lo was one of the best I have sat under. I am happy to have found a new artist to finish up my sleeves among other areas but happier to pay the price asked for the work. Can't ask for a better tattoo artist!! Nice and respectful.. myself can't ask for more other than the work he did on my hand was amazing!! I was a walk-in ...I have never been in the place nor have known anyone who has received any work by him...
