Went in last night for my thigh tattoo I’d really been wanting and it turned out amazing! John did a phenomenal job and was very quick, but also paid close attention to all the lines and details! Was a really cool dude. Great environment. 10/10 will be going to him again the next time I find myself in Galveston.

My fiancé and I walked in for tattoos the other day and were not disappointed. Odie did an excellent job and seemed very knowledgeable. He and my fiancé also had a great conversation and are friends on PlayStation now apparently. 😂
Initially I did want mine behind my ear but he said he no longer does tattoos in the neck area since people tend to move too much. So just a heads up to anyone looking for that.

Man this is the most awesome tattoo place as soon as you walk in they greet you with a warm and funny hello. Jokesters. Makes for a fun tattooing. John boy did my work. He's great.

This shop was great! I was in Texas for a bachelorette party and 9 of us walked in for matching tattoos. They were accommodating and patient with the 9 of us. They disinfected the station thoroughly after every person and only allowed one person at a time. John Boy did all 9 and was awesome, especially with the girls who were getting their first tattoos!

I went to Galveston for my bachelorette party and my girls and I wanted matching tattoos. John was super nice, accommodating, and cool dude who did the same tattoo for 9 girls. The shop had a strict mask policy which made me feel at ease. Ask for John when you go. Thanks again guys for making my trip memorable

My new bride and I got our first ink and chose American Dragon Tattoo and I'm so glad we did. Odie did mine and it came out spectacular. He made me feel very comfortable and at home through the whole experience. John Boy did my wife's and did a great job and really put her at ease during the process. Highly recommend this shop to anyone in Galveston looking to get a tattoo.

This is a great tattoo shop, the best in galveston. I went to a few shops on the island before I went to this one and let me tell you none of them had customer service, none of them say hi, need help nothing, wait I'll take that back one person ask if I need help as I was walking out the door after being in there for 10 minutes so I waved as I was walking out, I gave up until I stopped to get a Daiquiri and I realize there was a tattoo shop next door, so I had a daiquiri then order one to go then I walked next door to the Dragon. I walked in to the dragon tattoo & within 30 seconds I got by someone the piercer I believe "take your time look around, you need anything just say something when you are ready", I said thanks looked around & about 2/3 minutes went by & another person specked up & said to me " we also do custom tattoos & we have the internet to help you as well if you can't fine anything on the wall", so I like the vibe here already. So I finally was ready to talk & I talked to tattoo guy Bret about covering up the hooker I use to date & I told him I wanted some type of wolf, so bret told me "give me about 30 minutes or so to do some research & draw something up and we can do something if you like it", so I told him I will be next door drinking and see what this blonde bartender story is, when you done come get me & I look what he comes up with. So about 40 minutes went by bret came got me then he shown me this wolf and what he had plan to do with it and I must say I think it came out better then what he said. In closing I want to say I will recommend bret and this shop to everyone I know & I'll tell people I don't know as well, if you on the island & want a tattoo go see them, bret had a light hand he cover up my ex candy name up great and the piercer gave me a few shots, go see dragon tattoo.. 10 stars if it went that high
