Iron Rite Tattoo South

Came across this location & was extremely satisfied with the atmosphere, employees & the care they have for their clients. Very clean, organized, & fun environment. Daniel is my current tattoo artist; not only is his intuitive & perception of style is amazing but his communication & personable character is what makes him an excellent artist. Highly recommend him!

I came by for the Friday the 13th tattoo flash sale, it was ($130+ i tipped ) [please tip your artist]. I had a really hard time picking which one I wanted because I had so many I really liked! I ended up going with wyatts grim reaper design. The wait was long, but there was a wait list and they stated that they would call/text when it got close to you. I wasn't tattooed until 530 and at that point I had changed my mind and added a second one and got a little snake+skull too, both in black and grey. I was tattooed by James Dupper whos incredibly kind and very personable, and took his time to make sure everything looked good. I've been tattooed by a couple artists (Daniel, Johnny, (Tommy?) that work here since they opened and everyone has exceeded expectations, including not just the artists, Marcos was some great entertainment lol and Brooke was very kind and straightforward, even when people were not that nice about the wait list being closed. Which was bummer but there are only so many artists that can work so fast, it was first come, first serve and they stuck to that. Anyone that wanted one should've known there was a possibility the waitlist could be closed especially because these were bigger tattoos offered and all the shops in austin were oversaturated. Im excited to go back and get a couple more when my pockets recover. I recommend this shop to anyone looking for fair, good quality work to be done, it's a hidden gem of georgetown.

Atmosphere was great, I did a walk-in experience and was treated great right off the bat. I have been to a few shops and non have be so hospitable like Iron Rite. They were quick to get me in and quick to get a few ideas on what I had planned. Wyatt is the guy who tattooed me, he was professional and overall a cool dude. He made the process quick and easy, maintained good conversation, and gave me some inspiration for future tattoos.

All of the previous reviews you read about Iron Rite Tattoo South are absolutely true. These guys are the absolute best. So many talented artists in 1 place!! From the first time that I called & spoke with Ham until I got my first tattoo by the incredible Cory Timmel, these guys made me feel very comfortable & welcome. Cory made sure that I was happy with the design & size before he got started. Cory, you are a rock star & your work is off the charts!! I even met the legendary James Dupper. Excellent customer service. Don't think twice, for all your tattoo needs, call Iron Rite Tattoo South! Thanks guys!

Cory sat down with me and hashed out a design that fit well with the rest of my tattoos. He took his time. He was quick and he did an amazing job. A very clean and professional establishment. Every artist work is displayed and they have amazing talent. Overall great experience.

Tattoo artist Melissa was absolutely amazing! With a brief description and a couple reference pics of what I had in mind, she was able to draw up exactly what I was wanting. Great customer service, made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Definitely will be coming back for more!! Thank you so much Melissa!

An absolutely amazing place to get tattooed upon. My artist was Eric Jones and he was phenomenal! I felt extremely comfortable and welcomed in the shop. Any artist at this shop will definitely take care of your tattoo needs. Thanks again to Eric and everyone at Iron Rite! Y’all friggin rock!!

I'd give them a 0 but not allowed. Booked an appointment with them within their business hours. They canceled my appointment without notice because they wanted to close up early for the day. No respect.

This was at red horn today, I was informed it was your parlour doing tattoos for the red horn anniversary.
They had quite a list going while I was there at 130. I asked what time they will be closing and I was told 6pm. I booked a slot at 530 saying I need to leave right now but can be back by 5 or so. At 4pm I was informed they didn't think I was coming back and were closing for the day.

Melissa was AMAZING!! Got my first tattoo here in remembrance of my father and she did it perfectly! She was so patient and so kind. Kept conversation going and just loved her so much! If I ever get another tattoo, it will definitely be here and with Melissa!

Daniel at Iron Rite South created a beautifully detailed tattoo design for my daughter that I was getting on my arm on my birthday. He did amazing work and it turned out better than I could have imagined. He’s been my tattoo artist for years and has done over half of my arm and he is who I will choose to finish it when the time comes. Thanks Daniel and Thank you Iron Rite South!
