Heavy Hearts Tattoo

So happy I found my Chuck again! The shop itself is nice, clean, professional. They have snacks! Chuck Jones has been my tattoo man for yeeaaaars and I'm so glad to find him here! As usual he was a mix of informative as well a highly entertaining and once again I'm more than satisfied with another gorgeous tattoo. On this occasion, my husband and I were getting matching tattoos. It was his first time getting a tattoo. So we had to do it right and you can't go wrong with Chuck. We will be back (obviously)!

I enjoyed getting my tattoo from May so much! Though it wasn’t my first time getting a tattoo, I think for first timers it’s good to know that she uses a tattooing device that is much lighter and quieter than the traditional tattooing devices artists use that can be quite heavy (and painful) with a chainsaw noise. That is NOT the case here! She also applied a numbing spray between shading and coloring the tat so it was much more bearable. I even fell asleep a few times. It was truly a pleasant experience and I strongly recommend May to any one - beginner or experienced tattoo goers!

Got a tattoo here yesterday by Steven Compton. Getting a tattoo from Steven was the only reason I needed to go to this shop or as Steven calls it "art studio". Well Steven is right, this place is not just a tattoo shop! There are tons of tattoo shops in the Houston area, but this is the first Tattoo Art Studio I have been too. The place looks more like a doctor's office instead of a tattoo studio. I have never been a shop so clean. Of course my tattoo turned out freaking awesome! There are a ton of great artist here besides Steven, so if your want a tattoo in want I would call the best tattoo studio in Houston give them a call!

Heavy Hearts is hands down the best studio I have been to. The shop is incredibly clean and spacious, and the decor is awesome. Everyone there was really friendly. My tattoo was done by Steven Compton and I honestly could not be happier. He was incredibly professional from the first email I ever sent him inquiring about a consultation. Every penny I spent on my piece is quite possibly the best money I've ever spent. I will be back, and I told Compton he has a client for life now. I don't think I could go anywhere else after my experience with the shop and the artist. I spent all afternoon and evening at Heavy Hearts and felt like I left with new friends as well as a stellar piece of artwork I will enjoy for the rest of my life.
2023 UPDATE - can't wait to schedule again! Original review was made after my first of 4 long sessions with Compton. His work has only gotten better (which I didn't think was possible) and I am so excited!!!!!

This was the nicest and cleanest tattoo shop I had ever been to! We were so impressed! They even had snacks and drinks for everyone.
May was the artist I went to see. She was wonderful! Very sweet and friendly. She did a beautiful job with my tattoo. Will definitely be back to see her!

Had Ringo as my artist and he did such a great job with what I asked for. He explained everything about after care and answered all of my questions. He did such a good job with my tattoo and I would totally go back to him to get more!

Both locations- eado and nasa are both great. All of the artists are friendly, open, communicative. Been coming here for over 2 years with my husband and we both love everyone we’ve met here. Aaron, Steve, Madelyn, Bobby M, Candace, Abel, we’ve met literally have met almost everyone. The people leaving bad reviews are usually unreasonable clients and no working with them. Trust the process. These are all great people and you will get the best quality tattoos. Completely worth the wait. Just be patient and don’t be an unreasonable person. We’ve gotten tattooed by Abel, Bobby M, and Madelyn and we always leave happy.

I recently went in and got tattoos from both Will and Ringo. They both talked to me about the design and had me weigh in on adding/changing it. I felt super comfortable during the whole process and I’m so happy with the results. Both artists are very creative and I recommend both of them as well as the tattoo shop itself, I’ll definitely be back for more at some point thank you guys :)

The tattoo studio was placed somewhere that wasn’t at all inconvenient which I appreciated. The studio inside was super nice and clean, very inviting. I had an appointment with May and she was so sweet! The other artists would pop in too and they were super nice! My tattoo went by super fast since we were just chit chatting and laughing together, and the tattoo came out amazing! I’m in love with my tattoo and I’m definitely returning !

Great atmosphere and very talented artists, you have to book your appointment in advance and it can be months waiting. Worth the wait for the quality work.
