Precisely Veiled Tattoo

Short and sweet version: Frequent guest artist Rick (@flipshades), killed it! Artistic, personable, and professional. Showed a real passion and excitement for my tattoo and gave me my new favorite piece. Shop was clean and welcoming, and all interactions were on point.

I visited Precisley Veiled Tattoo on a consultation day with an idea of what I wanted, but had not committed to an artist. The consultation day was super relaxed, snacks and drinks out, and a warm welcome in the lobby. I came in, talked with the individual at the desk about what I was there for and he recommended I speak with the owner (Amy) first based on my design. After a short wait, Rick walked out from finishing a consultation and my tattoo was brought up to him. His IMMEDIATE enthusiasm on my design won me over instantly.

Rick talked details with me based on my expectations, intricacies of the style that I wanted, and provided his input, while valuing what I wanted and not being pushy. I can not emphasize enough how excited he was, and how excited he made me, for my new tattoo.

Two days later I experienced the same warm welcome to the shop and was promptly taken to my seat where we locked down a very simplistic stencil. Rick took the time to plan out the location and do some additional planning once it was on my skin. He gave me time to look at it and be satisfied with it. Shortly after that we got started while listening to Hall & Oates radio.

Rick breezed through the tattoo while keeping me entertained. Swapping stories made the time fly by, and every time I checked in on his work I just loved it more.

These guys get my full recommendation. Friendly, easy going place. Price is 110% fair for the work provided, and I could not be happier with how my new art came out.

Rick took what I brought him and not only delivered, but vastly improved on it.

Guest Piercer Ian was very easygoing and quick. He walked me through the whole process, which I deeply appreciated as this was my first body piercing. All the other staff I encountered there were also quite helpful and cheery. The piercing is still healing, but I haven’t had any issues so far. Thank you, and I’m sure I’ll be back soon!

I LOVE Ian! He has a wide variety of excellent jewelry. Very high quality. I bought a new septum ring from him and had him pierce my ear and can tell he is very passionate about his work. He takes pride in doing things the right way and went out of his way to make sure I got more than I expected. I look forward to seeing him again for more piercings. Worth every penny and minute of my time. Make sure you catch him when he’s in town!

First let me start with this is an AMAZING shop as a whole. From the very beginning of the process. Consultation day, I love the idea that they set aside the time to truly understand what you want to get. I've been to other shops where guests will walk in and start talking to the artist as you are getting tattooed....which is a little stressful. Since they are just putting something permanent into your body. Second, with it only happening once a month it truly gives you enough time to understand what you want to get done yourself, which makes the whole process run smoother. So you and the artist can really start knocking out more creative ideas about the piece. Once you walk in the shop you already feel a sense that they take great pride in cleanliness and maintaining the shop. Its the best shop I've had the pleasure to be apart of. The staff is amazing, I could go on about how rad they are, but I wont. They speak for themselves, truly down to earth people. You'll just have to find out for yourself.

I absolutely love Pvt. Amy was my artist and she did a fabulous job on my hip to shoulder cherry blossoms! Cant wait to get back in her chair. So I recently went back to get a rook piercing from their guest Ian Bell. He was very professional and his high end jewelry is to die for. I will be returning for another piercing as soon as this one heals.

I'm very impressed! I visited with Amy on consultation day, she listened and was spot-on with her recommendations. I had the pleasure of being tattooed by visiting artist, Steve Martin, Jr. He did a realistic rose that is so soft and beautiful, I can almost smell it! I look forward to his next visit!!

Started a back should piece with Amy and it's almost done; love her attention to detail, checking on me, confirming appointments, working me in earlier than expected. I love my masterpiece and so fortunate to have Amy doing the work! Excellent tattoo artist, atmosphere, conversation, spirit - just enjoyed this experience.

I live an hour away in Austin, but Amy is definitely always worth the trip, and I plan on making those trips for a really long time. She is an extremely talented tattoo artist that loves what she does and works damn hard to be successful at it, although her talent and rays of awesomeness do enough of the work for her. I will always trust her judgement to make my idea into her own art, and so far, out of the many sessions for my 2 sleeves, I have loved every outcome of my visits with her. And icing on the cake, she's an amazing person. The vibe coming from her and her shop is beautiful, I've felt comfortable from the first moment I walked in, and when she interacts with you its easy to tell she is genuinely listening. Check out her consultations days to feel all this for yourself, and however long you have to wait for an appointment, I believe it will definitely be worth it.

I had a great experience here!!! I was able to make a same-day appointment and my tattoo artist, Ted, did the BEST job!! He’s funny and easy to get along with! Im obsessed with my new tattoo and it was a great price!! I would definitely recommend this establishment and recommend Ted.!!

I drove 3 hours for my session, I arrived at exactly my session time and my artist Marlo was already prepared to get started. The staff were professional
and hospitable. I got a follow up text a day after just to check on my tattoo! I was wowed!! I got an amazing tattoo and a enjoyable experience!! It was well worth the drive!
