Paid $140ish for ear piercings and they got 10X more infected than when I went to Claire’s :( I cleaned them twice a day and they got huge infected lumps around the left ear. Disappointed cause I thought it would be more hygienic this way.
Update: still the worst piercing Ive gotten even after 7 months my ear piercing now is growing large and the stud can actually slip through the back of the hole :| Never had that happen before and they still get infected.

Cannot say enough good about my experience. Johnny hooked myself and my sons father up with teddy bears. He did a better job than I had envisioned the "perfect little bear" in my own head. I've had other tattoos, he made this less painful than any of my others. If you are looking for a great tat, or if you are a newbie, CALL JOHNNY!! He is an amazing talent. Couldn't be happier with his work. Will definitely be going to him for any other work in the future, and will send anyone I know looking to get work done his way.

I will refrain judgement for the business as a whole, and have no opinion of the other artists that work here, but Genevieve is not a professional piercer. I came in to get a double forward helix, and she briefly glanced at my ear and gave me an immediate "No." She said it was because I didn't have the right ear anatomy, but after this encounter I went to a real professional who has been doing piercings for 20+ years and he actually examined my ear, felt the area where the piercing would be, and gave me all the reasons why my ear has the right anatomy for it. I wish Genevieve would have just been honest by saying she didn't feel comfortable doing the piercing instead of pretending to look at my ear and falsely blaming my anatomy.

Very quiet and laid back place, very different than the tattoo parlors of old in Deep Ellum. There are 2 types of shops in my observations: party shops where drunk people can all get matching tattoos after the bars close, and shops where you go to get quality work done. This place is the latter of the two.
EDIT/UPDATE: yeah this place WOULD be worth the 5 stars I originally gave it, IF one of the 16 year old teenagers who "operate" the front desk would ever call me back. It's been 8 months since I got the first part of my work done, I'd like to get the rest completed!!! Guess Facebook or whatever the hell else those kids are fiddling with are more important than a paying customer.
