Im so glad i chose D.O.P.E Tattoo Studio . J Kemp made me feel comfortable as soon as I walked in . I showed him what i wanted to get done. Kemp is so passionate about his work love that he gives you ideas thru out the processes. My tattoo came out better than i imagined it being, since that day ive been back 3 more times!! Soon ill have my whole sleeve .

I went in to get my tongue pierced undecided on which one to get, J.Kemp helped me decide and explained all my options. He was quick and made it pretty much painless. There shop was very clean and hade a chill vibe. Definitely going again.

I got my medusa pierced by J Kemp. He was extremely rough. He turned his back which caused my piercing to pop out and he kept poking at the bar underneath to try and come out so he could screw the top back on. After many unsuccessful and painful attempts, he stuck a catheter back into my lip and got the metal clamps, stretched my lip out very far and repierced it. The post, or bar, of the jewelry was too little for my lip, and even though he offered to switch it out if anything had went wrong the next day, I wasn't going to go back when he shouldn't have pierced me twice in the first place. It could've been prevented. I had to take the jewelry out on my own less than 2days later because I was losing feeling in my lip and it was only getting worse even though I iced it any chance I got, took tylenol and cleaned it. I tried asking for a refund but he never apologized to me about what he did, refused to acknowledge he messed up and eventually stopped replying and left me with "There's nothing for me to say at this point." Now I am short $90 with jewelry I can't even use, and a bruised and swollen lip. I didn't even get an actual apology.
