So, I've been going to Lucky 13 for about 3 or four years. I live in Fate, which is about 30 minutes away, but I started going to Lucky 13 because I had met Philip at a shop he was at previously. So I moved with him. Don't get me wrong, Philip does great work and everything, but he moved about 2 hours away from home. Since it would be unreasonable to drive 2 hours each way to get a tattoo(which takes a while in itself), I decided that I would keep going to Lucky 13, but have Mike do my tattoos instead. When I was getting my first tattoo that Mike did, I really noticed how quick and light handed he is. Plus he does a great job, and for a great price. He quotes your tattoo by size and detail, not by the hour like most artists do! I wouldn't go by the hour anyways if I had the choice because most guys milk the clock to get more money. This is my go to tattoo shop. Mike has always been super kind, and is really understanding. I recently got off of medications that made me have tremors(basically the shakes), but Mike was super patient with me. I feel like he totally understood my situation with the tremors. Whenever I go, I try to give Mike a good tip.

Wife got her tattoo yesterday. I will be getting mine today. Shop is very clean and Mike is very friendly and is awesome at working with you to get the tattoo you want. Prices are very good for the quality of work he does. Definitely recommend lucky 13 tattoos to anyone who is looking to get awesome and amazing tattoos. Just saying this is definitely the best shop in quinlan! Mike is amazing & does great! My piercings barely hurt and they look awesome, they also healed really well. Same with my tattoo!
