I went to the shop to get my Rook pierced and I was super nervous. I get there and it smells/looks clean. Everyone I came across was very professional. Rudy was very gentle using sterile technique and explained what he was doing it every moment. He was very specific with aftercare and what to expect. I recommend this place!

After moving from Phoenix AZ to San Antonio I needed to find a new shop and artist. Bobby has been the most professional and laid back guy you could ever ask for and find in an artist! Will talk with you about DBZ, anime or games and make the experience even more enjoyable! Very smooth with his work. Everyone in the shop is awesome, friendly and the atmosphere is fantastic and welcoming! Highly recommend Boardwalk Tattoos and will be coming back for more!

This place is absolutely the best! I got a black and grey American flag tattoo on the inside of my forearm done by Abel. He fit me in his schedule within a weeks notice and the tattoo looks great. He really knows what he's doing and he was very knowledgeable throughout the process. It's a small friendly shop with great service. Would highly recommend.

Abel is such a great artist there! I started feeling light headed halfway through my tattoo and he and the rest of the staff immediately started helping me, brought me and ice pack, gave me food, and got me water and they were so nice and understanding of it all! It felt so reassuring and the rest of the tattoo went super smoothly. Ill definitely be coming back soon!

My mom and I went in to get piercings and matching tattoos with each other's fingerprints and we couldn't be happier with the results! Su helped us design the tattoo and she was able to create just what we were thinking of. We also got piercing's from High Five (I got a tragus, my mom got a cartilage) and the whole process was sterile and professional, and so far both the tattoos and piercings are healing well.
