Mr Lucky's Tattoo

I went in and asked for a pop art powerpuff girl. I showed him a picture he drew up, looked good on the picture but on my arm it did not look like the picture at all. After the swelling went down you can see how he edges were not clean… missing color in many areas… he did a fast tattoo. That only took 25 min .. I was excited for this tattoo but if you look closely at it. You can see how blotchy it is. I’m going to a nother place to fix my tattoo

I have been in San Antonio for 2 years now and Jason Pool has done 3 tat on me ( 2 cover up). I first met him at Black Point and then he moved over to Mr. Lucky's Tattoo. I have several tats , by many artist and by far he is in my top 2. Mr. Lucky's tattoo is a clean and very professional establishment and the workers really enjoy working with each other. It is always a great experience when i go there.

Decided to go for my first tattoo and popped in as a walk in. Robert greeted us and answered all my questions. He was very thorough, patient, and excited to do my first tattoo! He was open to my design and enthusiastically helped with some details of the concept. He kept everything clean and organized and then explained the after care very thoroughly. I will definitely go back when I decide on tattoo #2!

Mr Lucky's was absolutely perfect. I went in not set on anything in particular just looking to get some ink. That's when I met Philly. He was very personable and very easy to talk to. We discussed some ideas when I asked about a Reaper. He pulled out something that he had been working on and it was definitely the one. Once the line work was done I was thinking keep it black and white but he had a vision with color in it so I went with it. I'm so happy I did, the tat is sick!! Philly, thank you brother.

And the music selection was second to none. Great shop, Great people.

Called up to set an appointment and was invited same day. Had a simple idea ifkif of what I am after, gave ideas of what I like and started one sleeve. Ended up with the three great tattoos.

I went for my first tattoo and what a great experience!! Weldon was my artist and he did a great job preparing me, helping me plan and create the artwork and the result is amazing. I highly recommend him and his shop. I will definitely use them again.

Mike did my very first tattoo. When I arrived he was very professional. Masks are required, had to use hand sanitizer and he took my temperature everything required to avoid the Covid 19 virus. After discussing the design I sent him, he talked me thru the entire process. Now I have a great tattoo on my leftside ribcage. If I get anymore I'll definitely have Mike do it. You can't go wrong with him. Thanks Mike, you made getting my first tattoo painless, in more then one way.

My sister and I went here our first week in San Antonio because there are so many great reviews and she got a really nice tatoo from the artist in the first area but my experience was horrible. I had a picture of what I wanted and it seemed pretty simple to me. when I showed it to Philly he spent several minutes trying to talk me into another style and design and all I wanted was some letters and a small image. I decided to listen to the professional and soon got started. I dont Know if it was supposed to hurt so badly but it was very painful. He was being very loud and I was very uncomfortable the entire time. I saw a small bottle of liquor on his counter and he seemed to be very drunk. When I told him I wasnt feeling good he was very dismissive and kept tattooing me, My sister came over to check on me but only after he had finished. he was still being very loud and dismissive. My tatoo still isn't healed after two months and I am not at all comfortable with going back to that tatoo shop for help. I've since been recommended to another shop on my side of town. hopefully my tatoo can be saved. The man in the first area did a great job but I maynot ever get another one done.

I love my tattoo .. this shop is very down to earth and homey feeling . Mike Guerra is amazing !! Worked with me on my design and was very patient. He did a great job & had great customer service. I am definitely going back to this shop In the future! ❤️
