Bubba is my tattoo artist. Coolest guy around 😎 I love his work. He’s very talented and is able to help bring the tattoo ideas to life- or he will give an up front and honest opinion (which I personally love). So far I have two large pieces by him (mermaid is new and will get touched up after summer). I introduced my mom to him and she now has a few and I introduced my best friend who got a large piece💜 My mom and best friend love there tats as well. He gets booked up quick so don’t wait (you’ll understand why he books up so quick if you get in with him). I highly recommend bubba for your tattoos! You will love him and his work too!

I am very happy with my tattoo, Steve was great, all my friends loved the tattoo, it is delicate and he did a very good job with the lines, apart from that he was attentive and I did not really feel any pain, I am going to go back to him for another one

Jesse is the best artist. He has a really good eye for blending beautiful colors together. Very good at making you feel comfortable and knowing when you're ready for a break. My tattoo healed up nicely and looks amazing. I keep getting compliments on the color work. Definitely recommending The Crow's Nest to all my friends.

Carl Alexander is my go to artist and ink master. Some of my favorite artwork in Houston. He does everything from photo realistic to my awesome "tree of life " design. Check out his stuff at the Crows Nest website and just try to tell me I'm wrong.

ok so first I want to start off by saying my first experience with Bubba was great. His work was amazing on my friend and I who I brought in there the first year I went to get tatted by him. So a few years later I decided to make another apt. with him. It was 2 weeks out which was fine gave us lots of time to prepare. Throughout the weeks I drew up my best friends tattoo and mine. He was FULLY aware we both wanted to get some ink. Also throughout the mssgs I had told him that I was interested in becoming a tattoo artist, and that I was shy bc i don't have tons of tattoos like most artists do and didn't know where to start. In text mssgs he was really cool about it said we would talk about it during my session. So when i was asking him questions trying to learn as much as i could bc youtube only goes so far, he replied with one word responses and even on one question said "google it". It was very discouraging and really just made me feel even worse about the fact that I had mentioned to him I was shy about even asking. I always thought artists loved to teach and spread the love but he was just super rude. I only asked 2 questions..bc i took the hint.

so after 7.5 hrs of work not including the 3 breaks we took...I was starting to tap out..I told him to finish up the blue area and call it quits. Mind you during the session my best friend also had mentioned what she wanted and showed him what I drew...he said nothing...so when it came time to pay i said do you want me to pay now or after hers? he VERY rudely said "im not doing hers today, she can reschedule for next month or something but ive been here since 9"....he wasn't even nice about it whatsoever. I feel like he probably could have gotten one of his buddies to do hers but really just didn't even care to accommodate or give her the time of day, even if it wasn't his time. I had told him in prior conversations that she couldn't put down a deposit bc she didn't have a bank card and he said it was fine. I didn't tip one penny. I ALWAYS tip. It could have been different if he was nice about it but he was so sour and rude I WILL NEVER GO BACK. Also I got a tap out session and told him to finish the blue section and he did not do that either. ill need to go get it touched up and pay even more after paying $500. I was super disappointed in the customer service we received, and I hope one day I can find someone to point me in the right direction on where to get started other than just a response of "draw"....

Bubba was amazing even coming into shop on his off day. Was in and out in 2 hrs for my piece. Completely free handed and no stencil, he drew an almost exact replica of what i wanted. Eager for my next session, everyone go here!

Chazz is absolutely amazing. He did an amazing cover up for me. Finally after 6 years I’m excited to wear shorts and for people to see this beautiful tattoo that is is now.

My tattoo artist is David. My tattoo is a half sleeve, first time I did my first session he was a little late (for a good reason) went and bought me coffe! He's a very nice man and a great tattoo artist I'm finishing my tattoo tomorrow it's a black and white sleeve with some color. This is it so far. He's even gonna add more butterflies for me and a special flower that means a lot of me. If your looking for a professional tattoo artist here is the place and David is the artist! When I get more tattoos he's gonna be the one doing them.

Bubba is a true artist. Down to earth, chill kinda dude. We're working on a sleeve and it's coming out beautifully. He's really talented with animations and bringing them to life. I recommend him to my friends and will probably continue doing business with him.
