Taboo Tattoo LLC

My wife and I were visiting Utah for our honeymoon. We had been wanting his and her tattoos for a while and thought what better time than on our honeymoon. When I called and spoke with the owner Andy he was very welcoming and was even more so in person. They are one of the only shops that do walk ins and they got us in right away. Katybird was our artist and she was awesome!!! Great people and great prices!!!

Only place I’ve gone for my tattoos.
Julia has been great to work with and has given me exactly what is asked for. She’s done a total of 4 tattoos for me and I love them all. Having her work on the next one already.

A great place to go if you want quality artwork done. They have a good hand a great lines! If you want ART put on your skin then I would look no further. Price is great aswell.... personally I feel they should charge more for there work but they said they want it more avaliable to everyone to get great quality at a good price.

I had gone to this place to get my ears pierced and it was fast. After the piercing I asked if they could touch up one my tattoos. I talked to the owner, Andy, I believe. He took a few pictures of my tattoo and said to come back after a week or two to look at what he had drawn up. Coming back to the shop he said he was out of town and hadn't got to it yet. Said to come back after another week or two and he'll have some thing drawn up, after 2 weeks I went back and he had passed me off to another tattoo artist. She was really nice and made me really confident that I was going to be able to get the tattoo looked at and touched up. After a week I went back to the shop to look at any drawings she had of the tattoo, she told me that she had a few ideas but didn't have anything drawn ( I was fine with this). We made an appointment for the following week, after a week I drove back to the shop and she was sick, she has my number and could have texted/called letting me know she wouldn't be in and to not waste the gas. We made another appointment for the week after. I got there 15 minutes before the appointment and she was busy with another client. After waiting for 20-30 minutes past our appointment time I left. I do not recommend this place.

After a disappointing experience at another shop, my husband called Taboo on my behalf (I would have done it...but I was not in a good mood at the time) and asked if I could come in for a small tattoo that I'd been wanting to get for months. The woman on the phone (sorry, did not get her name) got me in at 3:30 that day. Shop was clean, professional, and the staff was fun to chat with. Kassi did my tattoo. She was very professional and was awesome about making sure the tattoo was exactly how and where I wanted it. Definitely glad I made the decision to go here. We'll be returning at a later date for another tattoo for me and one for my husband.

My friend and I decided to get tattoos last minute and Taboo Tattoo showed up on google. We called and asked if they could take in 2 walk-ins and they said come in. An hour later we were showing Andrew what we wanted. Aside from the tattoo looking perfect, the shop was super clean, everyone was really nice and welcoming, and they even got us ice cream while we were there. Unlike any other experience I’ve had getting a tat. If I lived in Utah this would be my go-to place 100%. Thanks for everything, you guys were awesome!

I was from out of town and called to make an appointment for 4 of us which I know can be a lot and expected to get some push back but he made it super easy and we were able to go in the next day (which is when we wanted). When we went in for our appointment they were very friendly and personable and quick to get what we wanted made and helped us add small things to it. We all got very simple small tattoos and he even went out of his way to give our friend an additional small finger tattoo and at the end he charged us all minimum which was way cheaper then expected. The Jewelry was also so reasonably priced we purchased some. I like a good 6 hours away but I would drive that for my future tattoos, they were so knowledgeable and quick 10/10. I’ve gotten tattoos from multiple places and states and this was my favorite place yet! Thank you so much Andy!

I went into get a Monroe piercing on January 26. I was never given care instructions. The next day the ball came off at work and I couldn’t find it so I had to use the ball from my rook piercing. I called about getting the care instructions and the new ball but the girl was leaving early. Coincidentally, the girl was going to Hildale for an appointment and that is where I work so she said she would drop everything off. However, that never happened. The ball kept coming off until I completely lost it when I was attending a funeral in South Jordan. By the time, I got home it had started closing up and had pus coming out. I was so frustrated that I decided to not bother with it anymore. I called today to see if they could give me a discount. She kept saying it was circumstantial and the only thing that they could do was give me a 5% discount. Needless to say, I won’t be going back there again.

Fantastic experience, great tattoo from a great artist. All around recommend to anyone in the Hurricane/Zion area looking to get a quality tattoo

I went and got my first tattoo on Tuesday and it was an amazing experience, I was slightly nervous going into the shop but I was assured by Andrews calm nature and had a great experience. I love my tattoo and we were able to corroborate on the design to make sure it was what I wanted. 10/10 would get another tattoo there.
