I came here for my very first tattoo. I have to say Jason did a tremendous job making me feel comfortable both with my visit and my design. He had no trouble tweaking a few things to make sure I have going to leave the shop happy with my tattoo.
Even though I was Jason's client, everyone in there was very warm making sure I was doing okay and having a great experience.

This isn't your traditional tattoo shop where you just walk in and any artist will just tattoo whatever you want. Savage Tattoo is unique and well worth the process if you are looking for original and deep meaning in your ink. Mike brought my vision to life far beyond my expectations! He was just as amped as I was, he showed interest in getting to know me and the meaning behind my piece before even beginning to see my idea or sketching it out. I had full control of what was going to go on my skin. I felt comfortable and had the upmost confidence that Mike was going to do his best work even though I had never met him and am not from the area. I have a lot of tattoos and have been to may shops all over the country and this by far has been the best experience of them all! Mike thanks for this super dope ink to kick off my next chapter in life! 🙌

Jason was *amazing*. We worked together from start to finish on a cover up of an old tattoo and the outcome was stunning. I loved having someone *listen* to everything I asked for and ensure I got exactly what I wanted. His floral artistry is spectacular. Chris, the studio manager, did an amazing job simply pairing us together. One the best tattoo experiences I’ve had. (And J has great music and movie taste ;)

Spencer was my artist at Savage. My tattoo was in a more intimate spot and I felt really comfortable. Super professional and he completed the piece very speedy. He was very gentle and mindful of the placement of the tattoo which in turn made the experience less painful. Loved my experience and I’m already thinking of my next tattoo for Spencer.

I can't say enough great things about this shop. I've had 2 from here and completely satisfied with them both! Sheldon was my artist and I'm so glad he was. They don't use the rotation system, which is why I continue to go there. This means they get you to the perfect artist for your tattoo. Not just the next artist in the rotation. I don't know about you but if I'm spending my time and money on a permanent item on my body, I want someone with experience and who specializes, in the style I want. That way I'm never disappointed. NO REGERTS HERE! lol

Overall pretty good experience. I came here for my first tattoo ever! I had David as my artist who did a great job! If I could recommend two things to them, it would be to allow one person to go with their customers and to send a sketch of your tattoo to you before the day of. This would allow you to get exactly what you want out of your tattoo.

Man, oh man, oh man! Words cannot accurately express how PSYCHED I am about my tattoo. My husband and I have been itching to get another couple’s tattoo, and my husband found this place through google. I can’t testify to his initial contact with shop owner Chris (I wasn’t there but he said Chris was great), but the man knows what he is doing if he paired us up with artist Spencer! I’m currently living out of state, so Spencer set up a Group FaceTime for us to discuss our desires for the tattoo. We also sent him some concept art for our tattoos. They were all something different, examples of couple tattoos that we were interested in. Wellll…. Spencer took our concept art and incorporated something from each example. I’m telling you, we never would have thunk it up ourselves. The outcome? WAY better than I expected. He really put my dream tattoo to paper! Wowzers, Spencer! You really knocked this one out of the park, man! Kudos!!! Anywho, I met Chris while waiting for my husband to get his done. Wow, that man is SUPER friendly. Was not expecting that! Not because I thought he’d be rude or anything, but I thought he would give a basic, “hope you’re happy. Thanks for choosing us” kind of greeting LOL I see why my husband chose this shop.

I cannot recommend this shop enough. From the atmosphere, the feeling of being heard and welcomed by all staff (including Chris right off the bat). Not to mention, I am 2 sessions in to a lower leg sleeve and could not be happier! Jason absolutely nails it, because he takes pride in doing only the best work. No rush jobs, no carelessness, he really becomes someone you enjoy sitting next to for 6 hours (even if it hurts, ha!). I’ll be back soon for our 3rd session!
