Prohibition Ink Custom Tattoo

JJ and Darlene made my first tattoo both memorable and comfortable. When I showed up to schedule the appointment, Darlene was attentive and interested in my ideas, and we chatted for a while until JJ had time to take a break. I had anticipated a surly artist who would want me to lay out exactly what I wanted, as that is what I experienced at other shops in the area. JJ was interested and willing to come up with a novel piece that portrayed my love of cycling with the canyon I ride the most.
My appointment ended up taking 3 hours, JJ was attentive and offered ample breaks and warnings about areas that were going to be a little rough.
I can't wait to schedule my next piece with them!

Got my first tattoo here with Rat. I loved every minute of my experience. The shop was clean and the setup is awesome I loved the decor. Rat made sure I was comfortable throughout the process and was very clear on what we were doing and after care instructions. . My tattoo turned out so beautifully. Can't say thank you enough!

Disappointed with my experience. I reached out to prohibition ink for a custom tattoo. I explained what I wanted and they told me that their apprentice Sage was capable of executing what I was describing. I met with Sage for a consultation. Based on my interaction with her it didn’t seem like she was comfortable or wanting to execute the tattoo I was asking for. However, she told me she would draw up some ideas and send them to me so I figured I would see what she came up with to see if it was the right fit. Between my first consult and my second consult she had an entire month to send me her ideas like she said she was going to. I didn’t hear or see anything from her until the night before my 2nd consult when she told me she had draw up some “flowers and things” but wasn’t able to view the photo’s I originally submitted for ideas. Honestly, the communication in my experience was really not great. She could have let me know she couldn’t access the photos sooner, she could have let me know if she didn’t understand what I wanted, or wasn’t comfortable executing it. Long story short. I’m disappointed. I won’t go back and I found somewhere else to get the tattoo I wanted.

Jj is very talented and fun to talk to. There shop is beautiful and very well decorated and inviting. This is the best place to go their tattoo artists are all people who have studied art!

My experience getting my first tattoo from Geoffrey exceeded my expectations! He is so friendly and professional, and his art is amazing. The lines in my tattoo are so fine and done so so well. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out, and I would definitely go back if I get another tattoo.

Prohibition Ink is hands down the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had. JJ is extremely professional and an immensely talented artist. He employs not only amazing artists, but great people.

When people ask about my tattoos, I am proud to say I’ve received them from Prohibition. The shop is well decorated and spacious, but also private and intimate. The artists are very professional and have a passion for tattooing that shines through in every piece they create and every interaction they have.

I look forward to every appointment I have with the team at Prohibition not only because I’m getting rad art on my body, but because I get to hang out at the shop with everyone and have great conversation and laughs.

Maddie and Rat are the two artists ive gotten my tattoos at and im very satisfied! Maddie helped me create a special piece in memory of my cat and it turned out so beautiful!

100% would reccomend to anyone. Rat did such an awesome job with matching tattoos for my boyfriend and I. It was my first tattoo and he had me totally comfortable. He was SUPER sanitary which was awesome, took time to make sure we were 100% about the design and placement- he offered his own ideas that we ended up having him do, and they turned out awesome. He told us what to expect, before, during, and after, and answered all our questions. Also, he was the only one working, and handled every curve ball super well. 10/10. Will be back soon!

I got my first tattoo done by Rat and the experience was as great as it can get. He made me feel very comfortable and gave me a beautiful tattoo that fits my body perfectly. He helped me understand to trust your tattoo artist because the suggestions he gave me was so much better than what I came in with. is very easy to work with and was very gentle on my ribs. Rat is very good at what he does and I would definitely recommend him and this shop!

Amazing experience from start to finish!! JJ did my tattoo and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. He was very attuned to my needs during the tattoo and continuously made sure I was comfortable and okay. He is a great conversationalist and did a wonderful job distracting me during the more painful parts of the tattoo. Plus you a absolutley can't beat the quality. I will absolutley be back for more!!
