JJ gave me my first tattoo. I couldn’t recommend this shop and him as an artist more. It was such a great first experience. My idea was slightly abstract but it came out exactly as I wanted it. JJ was very professional and made everything so comfortable. 10/10 would recommend.

What’s up Prohibition Ink Tattoo!! I am so thankful my first tattoo was from you guys! Rat and JJ were great to work with! All staff are very well trained on cleanliness and customer service. The talent in this place blows my mind. Not only are you getting tattoos done by the best tattoo artists in SLC but also by actuall college educated fine artists with college degrees! Highly educated, very kind and welcoming, extremely talented, and VERY CLEAN! I will be getting all of my tattoos done here as long as I’m kick’n it in Utah. Thanks again dudes! P.S. This place is basically a badass spa! Atmosphere is relaxing and beautifuly unique!

JJ is an incredible artist, but you can see that for yourself by looking at any of his work (paintings, tattoos, etc.). What you don't see just by looking at his work is that he's also an amazing person. Genuine... humble... great sense of humor... just an all around awesome dude. Whether you're into joking around about current events, watching The Big Lebowski, or having serious conversations about the mysteries of the universe, I guarantee your experience working with JJ will be enjoyable/memorable. And... you'll leave with a badass tattoo. I will never get another tattoo from anybody but JJ.
