They where very accommodating I walked right in and with in 5 mins I was laying on a table getting my nose done. Loved the guy who did mine....would recommend this to anyone looking for a tattoo or a piercing

I went to this shop on a whim without a reservation to get some piercings done with my friends. All three of us were pierced by Ryan Mallory and he was phenomenal. He had an apprentice shadowing him and they were both incredibly polite, sanitary and knowledgable. I would definitely recommend Ryan and the shop.

Went in after the jewelry from a nose-stud piercing done here 16 months ago (which was a good experience, great ppl) fell out and I couldn't reinsert it. It had been a few days. With Tony's help I chose a new piece to replace it but hadn't expected it to be so grown back. It was almost like a new piercing. Tony did the "piercing". I'm a 59 yr old woman, over sensitive to pain, and was NOT looking forward to going through it again...this time without a friend by my side. Tony was awesome. Patient, reassuring, always checking in with me to be sure I wanted to move ahead with it. When I assured him I did, he said, "We'll get through this together!" And we did! No charge except for the jewelry which was reasonable. Thank you, Tony and Body Art Tattoo Studio. Highly recommended.

I will be generous by giving these guys a "2" since their procedures may have changed. I went here looking to get some piercings done, when I asked to see their autoclave and sterilization procedures they said "no". Every other place I have gone puts this foremost as a safety identifier and will go through their process. Hopefully they have changed this practice as I cannot see anyone who values their health wanting to commit to work which may or may not be sterile.

Just got my belly button pierced today! The piercer was very direct and knew what he was talking about, he was easy to contact before hand and was quick getting me in and out. This place was very sterile and at $42 there really is not beating this place .

Went in to get a piercing and new jewelry for another piercing I already have. I was told to sit and wait and an hour had gone by without being seen. Someone else came in wanting a piercing and was taken back after about 5-10 minutes. When I asked how much longer I had to wait, I had received no apology or explanation for being forgotten about and ended up leaving, again no one saying anything to me and not acknowledging I was leaving. (My parking meter for an hour was up anyways.) I am extremely disappointed and would not recommend this shop. Very poor customer service.

I had my rook pierced at Body Art Tattoo this january. I was worried about the pain and the awkward position, and had only had my ears and belly button pierced before, never cartilage. The upstairs shop is clean, open and light, and the artists are clear about explaining what they are doing and they keep it fun and happy while still focusing really well on their work. About five months later, I returned to buy some jewelry and was pleased with the selection. Don't be deterred by the location, just because it's not in the hub of all the other church street activity doesn't mean it can't do amazing work. Thanks so much!

They may appear to have a tough exterior but the staff of B.A.T. are incredibly hospitable when you treat them with the respect they deserve. This was my first tat so they made me feel comfortable and the experience was one to remember. I left with a huge grin on my face!

I got my septum pierced here a little while ago (a few months) by Ally, who was nice and did a good job. Everything was sanitary and I haven't had any problems with it at all.
However, the men at the front desk were off-putting, and simply rude. Neither of the two guys could be bothered to look up from Facebook longer than 30 seconds to help me. I'm glad I did't have to sit through a tattoo with either of them. Maybe it was because I'm a younger woman? Unclear, but I know that I will never be coming back to this shop.
