Marigold Adornment Tattoo, Piercing, & Jewelry.

I just got my very first tattoo at Marigold just a couple days ago, done by Alex. She was awesome to work with and did a fantastic job guiding me through the process and listening to and answering the multitude of different questions I asked throughout the appointment. She created a beautiful design for me based off reference pictures and a loose description and turned it into a real work of art. I’m already hooked on the idea of more tattoos!

Not only did I have a wonderful experience working with Alex, but the entire shop has a friendly and welcoming vibe to it and the staff were all kind and humorous from what I could tell.

15/10 stars if I could, absolutely hoping to go back again for more beautiful work or maybe even a piercing or two sometime!

I feel really grateful that we have a shop of such high quality in central Vermont. I had a bridge piercing from Michael a year ago and I literally could not ask for a better experience. He has a dedication to healthy healing but also makes his expert knowledge really accessible. The time that he dedicates to checking in on the healing process is impressive- I had two follow up appointments to make sure my surface piercing (something that is tricky to heal) to make sure it was healing appropriately. I would trust him to be honest with me about my progress.

I have also had two sessions with Maya and they are the BEST. I was super vague with my prompt of “haunted house” and they just crushed it. They were even flexible even when I changed my mind after I said I was cool with the design. On the fly they added one my new favorite details. I just had another consult with them and I just know that they are gunna crush that design as well. They have a lot of patience and care about your well-being during the session. Also very considerate of your privacy.

I hope that Michael and Maya continue to practice in Montpelier- you can’t ask for better artists!!!!! The shop is also super clean and the entire staff seems so chill.

My experience at Marigold Adornment today, was 100 per cent completely wonderful, and absolutely amazing!! I cannot rave enough~ the space is meticulously clean, with everything staged and arranged to maximize your comfort and your time while there. Upon entering the door, I felt the most beautiful welcoming energy.....as I was greeted by two of the warmest, most kindest people //staff members. Their expertise and knowledge was of the highest level~ (I appreciated that so so much and knew I was in THE BEST of hands!!) I received two piercings during my visit: a Helix, and Naval. They made sure my naval jewel would fit me perfectly~(It does~ it's so exquisite and looks like I've always had it, and that it was created just for my body), and, they also attentively assisted me in making sure I found exactly what my heart desired for my Helix piercing as well!! (Jewelry selection is just awesome~ I mean, where else could I have found a stunningly faceted, gem grade Peachy//Pink Imperial Topaz set in pure Rose Gold??? Almost too gorgeous to be true....like it was always there and meant for my ear :): ).
Ari preformed the piercings for me, and all I can say, is he is incredible!! He made sure I was totally at ease, communicated clearly with me the whole time, and when it came down to receiving the actual piercings themselves, and placing my jewelry in~ I simply knew with no doubt, there is NO substitute for going to a piercer with that much knowledge and experience!! THE END.
Ari set the tone for creating a very special memory~ as my husband and I were celebrating our anniversary today, and this was part of that celebration!! My husband was able to be seated in the room with me, which also meant a great deal to the both of us~ From our hearts to everyone at Marigold Adornment: We thank you..... I highly recommend going to this shop! I got a beautiful tattoo from Maya and I can’t wait to go back for another. Not only are they an incredible artist, they are extremely professional and informative. They walked me through each step of the process and made sure I felt comfortable and happy with the placement of my tattoo. Marigold Tattoo clearly values the experience of their customers and work hard to create a safe and welcoming environment.

Truly love this piercing studio!! Erica and Michael and the whole team here make their clients feel relaxed and welcome from the moment you walk in. I’ve now been here a couple times for multiple piercings and have had both Erica and Michael. They offer honest feedback on what rings or studs to go with, Marigold offers a big selection for all price points. They are impeccably clean and sanitizied!! I’ve now been to a few studios in VT as well as NH but this is my favorite one and will continue to give them my business.

I see Erica at Marigold Adornment for all of my piercings. Not only are they extremely professional, knowledgeable, nonjudgmental, and supportive of all my endless piercing desires - they’re an extremely kind soul, super fun, and a pleasure to be around. Of course, all piercings are painful (after all, we are voluntarily asking to have a needle inserted into our bodies) - but with Erica’s many years of experience, somehow the experience is always quick, as painless as possible, and I’m always glowing with the end result. They’re also really fun to choose new jewelry with - they have an awesome personal aesthetic too, so I trust them to help me choose awesome jewelry.

About the studio - MA is the most professional and only APP (Google it lol) studio in Vermont. It is highly worth the trek to Montpelier to see these people - going to a reputable piercer not only saves time and effort in the long run, but also guarantees great results and a better healing process. I’ve never gotten pierced by anyone other than Erica but the vibes I have gotten from Michael and Jess have always been 💯

Also I feel it needs to be said that high quality jewelry is very important in terms of body piercing and MA has no shortage of amazing pieces. Also, although it’s always an investment (and worth it), I feel they have a vast array of price ranges that still fit within the realm of safe body jewelry and have been absolutely workable and nonjudgmental with whatever my budget for the day has been - without ever pushing higher price points.

I just love this place and recommend it 100%

Beyond recommend this shop!

I had previously gotten my septum done at different shop (NOT Marigold) and that piercer ha butchered my nose!! I was so sad.

But when I found Erica, I was ecstatic to get it redone! They walked me through the whole process, from cleaning, to piercing, to follow up appointments. They reassured me that I was in good hand and I certainly felt like I was!!

The owners, Michael and Jes, are so kind and knowledgeable. They really take the time to take care of their staff and clients.
Went to Erica for a couple piercings almost a year ago and she took the time to make sure I was well educated on the process as well as the aftercare. She also made sure that we took the time to get the jewelry and placement just how I wanted.
Saw Alex for a few tattoos last Spring. Not only did she take the time to meet with me ahead of time, but she also really listened to what I was looking for in a tattoo. Her artwork is so beautiful and she really took the time to perfect the look and placement of each design.
Truthfully, can’t say enough good things about these two ladies along with everyone else at Marigold. The atmosphere is so clean and inviting. Plus, they have such a great collection of jewelry. Will definitely be going to them for all my future jewelry, piercing and tattoo needs.

Excellent experience from start to … almost finished? That’s the thing about Marigold Adornment (and Erica, who I worked with). They understand that tattoos and piercings are a long term commitment and they are supportive every step along the way during healing. I very much appreciate the care and attention to detail, health and safety!

Marigold is the best spot for tattoos and piercings in Vermont, period. The entire staff is extremely kind and welcoming, and the shop is meticulously clean and inviting.
I have gotten several tattoos now from Maya, both custom designs and from their original flash artwork. They truly go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, and are extremely knowledgeable about the art and process of their craft. They have a personal style that is traditional but uniquely cute, and they are masterful at linework as well as color.
I recently got both earlobes pierced by Parker, and they were extremely informative about the process, vigilantly clean, and made sure the placement was exactly right. It also didn't hurt at all! And the selection of jewelry was great, from simple to unique shapes and of all different sizes.
No matter where in the state you are located, I think it is well worth your time and money to make the trek to Marigold.
