I went to Zak a couple weeks ago for a walk-in tattoo. He was extremely professional and able to draw up the tattoo I wanted. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get a tattoo. This is a great shop!

Zak and Ben are such great artists (I've gotten my tattoos from them, I'm sure everyone else there is amazing.) Half my tattoos now are from this place - the prices, quality of art, and vibe of the place all keep me coming back. Absolutely recommend!
(P.S: if you're looking to save money, a permanent piece of art on your body is probably not the place to be looking for something cheap. Quality wins!)

Rick’s tattoos did an awesome job on my tats and my boys cover up. I had Troy do my tattoo and everything came out perfect and quick. The gentleman in the front taking the people information was cool. Over all good experience.
If you are wondering how much they charge, they go based on a “Hand size comparison” chart, which starts from a small tattoo, the size of half a palm would be $100 & then it go up from there as the size gets bigger. Ex : $150, $200, $250… etc
This spot has parking and it’s cash ONLY. So bring a stack of money 😂.

I have gotten a few tattoos at Rick's. All of them were done by Amy X. She is great and the work looks like it did the day it was done.I also have gotten work from Troy Brett, he just like Amy is an amazing artist and does great work. Everyone there is great and they are all willing to help with any questions you may have. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a tattoo or piercing.
update from my 3 year old review-
Everything is still fantastic, two half sleeves working on full sleeves by Troy and everyone there is still as fantastic and friendly as the first day I entered. Couldn't pick a better place to get tattoo'd.

Really disappointed in Ricks today. This was the 4th tattoo I’ve gotten there, 1st for my daughter. We won’t be back. Waited 4 hours with minimal interaction from staff. Should have walked out at the 2 hour mark but had been panning this for a long time and daughter was home from college for the weekend. Finally got in the chair and the artist was led than pleasant and acted pretty put out. Disappointing.

This place is clean and efficient. Check out their profiles, they have fantastic artists. Everyone was very nice, my tattoo turned out exactly how I wanted, and they are thorough with the initial consultation and the aftercare. I couldn't be happier about my experience. The piercing studio downstairs is also stellar!

Rick’s Tattoos is awesome. Zak Warren did a fantastic job on my first tattoo EVER, and I absolutely love it. And Zak. And Rick’s. Best experience I could have imagined. (And since I took 41 years to get my nerve up to do this, I’ve imagined a TON.) I could not be happier with it. The lines are beautifully clear and crisp, and the execution is exactly what I wanted in every way. I love it and will definitely go back when/if I ever decide on another one.
My husband had a similarly great experience with a more senior artist there, Ben Krist. His tattoo is a larger and extremely intricate geometric line design, with overlapping circles and tons of detailed symmetry that required serious tattoo artist skills to pull off. I actually thought it was crazy to even try. But Ben did it perfectly. These guys are good.
I don’t have personal experience with the other artists there, but all seem to get rave reviews across the board. You can call ahead to discuss artists and appointment options if you want, or just walk-in anytime and sign in at the desk (just like you might do at a nail salon). I know I asked them lots of questions, on the phone and in the shop, and they were very helpful and happy to answer them every time. (Or at least they pretended to be happy, which works just as well for me. :))
