I discovered Lucky Penny through a friend and made an appointment with David-best decision ever!! Had gone to another shop and got a tattoo (my first one) and it must have been this guys first day on the job. My tattoo looked like a child drew on my arm! David “fixed” his work and added his touch and now I have a beautiful tattoo!! Very clean and professional, explains as he goes, reasonably priced. I recommend Lucky Penny to anyone who wants a beautiful tattoo!! ❤️

I just had a somewhat large, colorful, and detail-heavy piece done here by the artist, Nick Austin. Nick's an AMAZING artist- hands down. The work he did for me looks like he did it with a paintbrush more-so than a tattoo needle. We collaborated together and working with him to create the piece I wanted was smooth and easy- he definitely picked up what I was putting down and magnified my concept to new heights. The prices are definitely worth what you get- they're more reasonable than a few parlors elsewhere in Lynchburg, VA. The rest of the staff, Jacob and David, that I had the opportunity to meet were very clean, friendly, and hospitable. The environment there is welcoming and easygoing. They definitely have a return customer in me!

This is the best tattoo shop in Lynchburg. Seriously. I got an awful disaster of a tattoo at another shop in town and David fixed it for me. He literally saved my arm. You may have to wait a while for an appointment, but the wait is worth it. All the artists here are incredible.

I got a custom memorial piece for my dad by Dex!! After talking he knew how much this tattoo meant to me and made sure it was just a special. During my tattoo process he made sure I was okay and if I needed a break he quickly finished up what he was doing and allowed me to take a breather. You can tell it’s not just a job for him it’s something he loves to do and he puts his heart into it!! I would recommend Dex and I am going to recommend Dex to anyone wanting a tattoo!!
