"Exposed Temptations Tattoo is Northern Virginia’s premier tattoo studio. Since 1994, our shop has delivered award-winning tattoos and piercings to the DC-metro area. We offer state-licensed artists, private rooms and proudly uphold hospital-standard sterilization. Currently, we have 8 tattoo artists and two piercers on staff. In addition to our award-winning staff, we also feature monthly guest artists from around the world. Be sure to stop in, say hello and view our portfolios to see the difference for yourself. We are open 12 - 9pm, 7 days a week. Appointments are not necessary, but are recommended."

I got 4 piercings done consecutively and it was a fine experience. Deus was kind and funny. The only thing is the area felt a little sketchy so if you’re a single female I recommend going with a friend.

5 stars for sure. The atmosphere was professional and safe yet fun and inviting. Very clean and well kept tattoo studio. My artist was Rooster and he gave me my first ever tattoo and the quality was so amazing and I felt safe while getting it done. He was very sweet and funny and gave me the best first tattoo experience I could ask for. Thanks Exposed Temptations you guys are the best

I've been here before about a year ago to get a small angel wing tattooed on my left inner ankle. Aimee did it, she was quick on drawing up something original based off photos I showed her. She did a great job, she's a bit light handed but that's okay and she was quick, it was all lines and I was done within 5 minutes.
A group of friends and I were walk ins and all got something done that day, they were very pleasant, shop is so clean, like you can kinda smell the cleaner. They have comfortable seating and have a bunch of portfolios out so you can view artists work while you're waiting.
Today, I called to ask if their piercer was in, the phone was answered promptly and the receptionist is very nice and speaks clearly. She let me know he was there and if I was to walk in today to be there at least 30 minutes before closing and told me the price of my piercing ($80). My husband and I went in around 7 and were helped very quickly and Ian was the one who pierced me.
Ian is such a great piercer, he's very professional, has a nice personality and is really good at making you feel comfortable. I got both of my nipples done and he never once made me feel uncomfortable. Some light joking, never inappropriate, and he talked me through the whole process while he was piercing. All jewelry was clean and sanitized and came out of brand new wrappers and was disposed of immediately afterward. He gave me a little pamphlet on aftercare and sent me on my way. I'm very happy with my new piercings and would highly recommend him and the shop to anyone who asked me.

About a month ago I decided to get my first Tattoo, I was extremely nervous and honestly didn't know what to expect, Justin Bush was the one the came and gave me a consultation and scheduled me for the next day. He was extremely professional and made me feel confident, Justin is for sure an amazing tattoo artist my Tattoo came out awesome and had a lot of compliments. I came back for my second and third tattoos and again he did an amazing job.

So I came in on the walk in day which is Saturday got a quote to come back at 4pm. The artist I had was Jose he was very unprofessional. Eating chips and being rude to me as well. Blaming me because he was late tattooing me and started at almost 5:30pm. He was not taking any of my opinions into consideration and tried to charge me 400 dollars for a medium sized tattoo. Which I was fine with paying if the tattoo was what I wanted. He also told me he had another appointment after me which I understood. He was rushing what I wanted to get and it was nothing like my reference picture. I didn’t end up getting the tattoo because of the unprofessional approach. I wouldn’t recommend getting a tattoo from him your opinions wouldn’t matter.
