"Exposed Temptations Tattoo is Northern Virginia’s premier tattoo studio. Since 1994, our shop has delivered award-winning tattoos and piercings to the DC-metro area. We offer state-licensed artists, private rooms and proudly uphold hospital-standard sterilization. Currently, we have 8 tattoo artists and two piercers on staff. In addition to our award-winning staff, we also feature monthly guest artists from around the world. Be sure to stop in, say hello and view our portfolios to see the difference for yourself. We are open 12 - 9pm, 7 days a week. Appointments are not necessary, but are recommended."

We came in a little while back to get my daughter a nose piercing she’d been begging for FOREVER. She was a little nervous, but very excited. Ian took super good care of her, made her feel relaxed, made her laugh a few times and it was all around wonderful experience! He was really great at explaining the after care to her as well and she hasn’t had a single issue since. THANK YOU, Ian! Hopefully we’ll be back for something sometime soon!

Got a tattoo done by Luke while I was in town, and I gotta say his line work and color saturation is top notch. He was able to squeeze me into his tight schedule so I recommend avoiding just walking in. Try to get an in person consultation and put in a deposit to lock in your spot. The shop is full of talented artist with a deep respect for what they do. Staff is super professional and the shop is one of the nicest I've ever seen. Prices are very fair for the quality of the work, but remember that good work costs good money and here its well worth it.

I come to see Rooster and I absolutely love this shop. Everyone is incredible talented and kind. I love that they always make time for me and give me perfect tattoos within my budget. They just moved and the new shop is beautiful and SO CLEAN. If anyone needs a tattoo or piercing I would def come here. Can’t wait to come back

Had a mishap with a nose piercing done wrong and came in for help. Ian was a consulate pro and dispensed excellent advice and offered future help. Would have been at a complete loss without him. 💯 see why this shop enjoys the great reputation it does. Definitely recommend and will be back.

I recently brought my step daughter (7years old) in to have her ears pierced. Ian was very informative and helpful. He made her feel comfortable and safe. The quality of the jewelry was a big concern for me since I have had some bad reactions. Ian provided some very useful information as to what to use. We will be coming back to see Ian for all our piercing needs.

I drove out of my way TWICE to come here for one appointment, there were much closer shops! Something about this place (reviews aside) had a very at ease feeling to it. It's hip feeling, it is so CLEAN (even the reception area), and the front house staff is incredibly friendly and professional. Dëus is one of the best piercers I've ever encountered. He is easy to talk to and goof around with, but he is serious and precise about his job. He is gentle (as one can be while stabbing you with needles) and will talk you through the whole process. I don't live in the area, but visit every few years and I will absolutely save any of my future piercing needs for Dëus to do. He's spectacular!

I was dumb enough to get scammed through IG & was told to meet here 🙄 not only did I look ridiculous 😅 but I was still able to get tatted! Luke (who is incredibly laid back and a good conversationalist) took me in and gave me 1 of the 2 pieces I’m getting. Scheduled with him for later this month for the other bigger piece. Thank you to the ladies at the front who assisted me and reported the scam page. Can’t wait to get my other piece
