Jen was amazing to work with from start to finish. She was willing to work with my budget, the size of the tattoo, and made me feel comfortable through the whole session. This was our first time at Loose Screws Tattoo.
It’s a beautiful place!.. it’s clean the people are really nice there was no rush no pressure no judgment. The prices were fair, overall I have nothing negative to say.

***UPDATE***
The tattoo session went great. Jen is an absolute pleasure to work with. It feels like you're at a family get to together rather than a tattoo studio. Everyone there from the receptionist to the artists are very courteous and friendly. This session lasted 5 hours and I could not be happier with the results (see photo). Jen did a great job.
***UPDATE 2***
Went back for a scheduled touch up. Session lasted an hour and a half. I am completely happy with the work. Again, great atmosphere and great people. Love my new artwork. Thanks, Jen, for all you did.

Had an absolutely amazing experience at Loose Screw. The entire shop is a very pleasant place to be and cleanliness is too tier. Lots of cool artwork all over and the front office staff is great.
My artist was Ginny McCormick and let me tell you, she was awesome! The piece she created for me totally hit the mark and looks amazing. I asked for a small design change before getting started and that was no issue at all. Once in the chair she made sure to explain everything she was doing. While this wasn’t my first tattoo it was still super nice that she talked through everything. Once she got started it was smooth sailing until the session was complete. The machines in use are not overly loud which I believe contributed to the excellent experience. Overall, it was a blast at Loose Screw and I will definitely come back for any future work.

Loose Screw is amazing. I worked with Dondrae for a Salvador Dali inspired portrait tattoo. He was so great to work with and was able to bring to life exactly what I wanted. His attention to detail was amazing and he was thoughtful on his approach making sure it came out great. This is my fourth time working with artists from Loose Screw and they never disappoint. I’m already planning on working with Dondrae on a new design and would highly recommend him for your next tattoo.

Loose Screw Tattoo in general has the best atmosphere. The shop is clean and the artists and front desk worker are super nice. A super big perk is that the artists have their own spaces, so clients are not overwhelmed with having a ton of other people around them. Jordan Bronstein was a gem to work with. She was able to conduct my consultation via phone and absolutely nailed the idea I had in mind. She was very willing to work with me on the design and placement. She made sure I was 100% confident and comfortable throughout the entire process; she answered all my questions related to the process and held a nice conversation while tattooing. I will definitely be going back for future tattoos!

My first tattoo ever, 1st of 2 sessions for my half-sleeve - my artist is JEN! Jen is kind, professional, TALENTED, and she made my first experience so enjoyable! I'm so excited to get my half-sleeve finished next month. Loose Screw is what I coin a "higher-end" tattoo place (compared to others I've visited and researched), and it took me 4 years to find an artist; I searched Jersey, NC, and VA - so happy I found Jen thanks to a recommendation from my co-worker and friend (and Instagram to confirm!). Jen is providing the photo-realism and feminine, elegant ferocity that I've always wanted for my style; her shading, lines, and everything - GORGEOUS. She has the eye and the skill. I'm hooked on Loose Screw Tattoo with Jen as my artist. Regarding their process, initial consultation meeting did not cost anything, scheduling appointments was easy, cash accepted for payment, studio space is clean and welcoming, Jen made me feel comfortable and safe, and the pretty penny for Jen's work is SO WORTH IT for me because she's so amazing. I'm IN LOVE with what I have on my arm so far as it's healing -- again, I can't wait to return in a few weeks to have my half-sleeve finished. I highly recommend Jen and Loose Screw Tattoo as a whole - friendly spot with a talented team. I'll share my finished arm in a second review next month.
