Great shop overall from making phone calls to actually being in the shop. Nate is outstanding. My first tattoo from Nate goes back nearly 5 years ago and still looks like it was done yesterday. If your looking for traditional work he’s the guy. Great conversation. Since moving back to the northeast he is truly missed.

Best shop. Super clean and welcoming, no attitudes. James Cumberland did my tattoos and they're seriously stellar. He's a great artist, very easy to work with, and will take your initial idea and make an awesome tattoo out of it. Everyone there--artists and front of house--is professional, helpful, and great at what they do.

Katie is amazing!!! ❤️ She came up with a beautiful design, incorporating all the elements I wanted with gorgeous artistic flare. She was very friendly and easy to talk to. My low pain tolerance made me cry like a baby during my session. She was super sweet, chill and nonjudgmental which helped me get through my 2 hour session. The whole place is very clean and professional with a plethera of intriguing tattoo art on the walls for distraction. They play extremely diverse, eclectic music, which is just like the people who work and patronize there. Average $150 per hour, cash only!

Been tattooed by Holley and Josh here and everyone is friendly, respectful, and the art is always flawless. Owned by two staples within the industry and Phillip and Andy are always super kind. No frills or egos here. 10/10 suggest.

Excellent artists, friendly staff, clean, professional, etc.. 5 stars all around, it's worth the wait for an appointment rather than going to some lesser quality place where you can walk right in.

I had Katie work with me on a chest piece and she was amazing. Her consultation was solid. I had several things in mind to incorporate and a general idea of what I thought the placement would roughly be, plus we were working with an existing tattoo that was not going to be covered up. She made some great suggestions and really helped me come to see her vision of it which I appreciated.

We ended up splitting it out over four sessions and she rocked them out each session. I was really impressed with the lines, the coloring and the overall outcome. She's also just a super chill person to hold a conversation with.

Having watch the others in the shop work, I don't think there was an artist I wouldn't have been happy with, but I absolutely loved my time with Katie.

Salvation Tattoo clearly prioritizes cleanliness and excels at the customer service side of things, not to mention having extremely talented artists. Mike did an excellent job on my tattoo today and the details of the work showed clear attention to detail and alignment with our consultation. Mike was very considerate and a great listener, while also diligent, and has a very strong understanding of his craft. I felt very SAFE at Salvation. Wasn’t crowded, strong COVID safety precautions, very clean, professional. Salvation is your spot if you value high quality ink, excellent customer service, fair pricing, and a safe environment during COVID.

A friend recommended Salvation, and after getting my sixth tattoo done here I see why.

I went to Katie Davis for something that had personal meaning but was a little bizarre in concept (like a lot of tattoos, ha). She took it in stride and created a design that was both not what I was expecting and much better than I'd pictured. There were a couple small detail changes I asked for which she made quickly and competently on the spot without a lot of waiting around.

Once we got down to tattooing, Katie was fast and accurate. She laid down the linework so quickly it was a surprise to see her switch to colors. She gave good advice on how to sit comfortably and checked in that the arm pad she was using was in a supportive place. She's just all around a very professional and personable artist.

The end result of my tattoo is gorgeous. The linework is smooth and even, colors look good. I'll have to wait for healing to see if there are any touch-ups needed but right now it looks fantastic. 10/10, would recommend this shop (and I'll come back if I get more ink while living near here).

Accessibility note: I have a disability. The team at Salvation made a point to work out accommodations to let me get my tattoo safely and hygienically without making a huge deal about it.

Always professional, clean, and courteous. These artists are all very talented and well worth the wait. I've seen Holley a few times now and always leave thrilled with her work.
