YELLOW BIRD TATTOO

I came in for the first time the other day and got some work done by Slim! Couldn’t be happier with how my tattoo came out. Slim really went above and beyond and I’m so excited to return to Yellowbird to get more work done :’)

This place is probably my favorite shop on earth! Been tattooed here twice, first by Joe and then recently by Slim. Everyone is so, so kind and also crazy talented! The shop is super clean and honestly really beautiful. Prices are a steal for the quality of work you get. Both Joe and Slim felt like old friends of mine immediately–I wish I could just hang in the shop all day! Every other artist I’ve seen is super friendly as well.

Basically this place rocks. Can’t wait to come back!!

Hands down one of the best tattoo shops in Richmond. I had a custom piece done by Nate who brought my idea to life so much better than what I could have hoped for. They maintain a clean and inclusive environment, and I love that the new client intake form asks for preferred pronouns. The little after care goodie bag was a good touch too. Highly recommend YBT!

I spent over $125+ for my gold bee nose ring. Her website to book an appointment was very confusing and she is not professional. I will not be returning to Yellow Bird for any services.

Great tattoo shop in Richmond. Been going here since before the name change but their friendly staff and great service haven’t changed a bit.

Gotten a piece here and my roommate has gotten a couple. Never disappointed.

I was told I could come in for a walk in appointment and told them exactly what I was looking for (a vine around my finger and a line of a mountain on my hand) and said it was no problem. When I arrived the artist came up to me and refused to tattoo my hand saying I was a child and that he would not tattoo a child’s hand. He was very rude about the whole thing.

I’ve gotten two tattoos at Yellow Bird in the past two months and both times I’ve been exceptionally pleased with their artist’s attention to detail, quality of their work, and positive vibes.

Thank you Sweet Dyl for the awesome new tattoo & for being so kind as to take me as a last minute walk in. I highly recommend this place. :)

Very nice and clean traditional shop. I worked with Nate and could not be happier with my tattoo. He took my base idea and turned it into something truly unique. His artistry is amazing and he is a great guy to work with. Recommended, and I will be back.

I had a really beautiful experience getting tattooed here. Nate is an excellent artist—he checked in with me and made me feel as comfortable as possible. The shop is friendly, clean, and in a great location. Sending so many thanks to Nate.
