Hands down the best artist in Roanoke. Extremely talented artist who’s also really good at drawing your tattoo on the spot and even better he does it fast. Will definitely return and spread the word. Fair pricing as well. Overall, best tattoo parlor in town. This tattoo with drawing included took less than an hour.

Jay is an incredibly talented tattoo artist and all-around great guy. Hes got the skills to put awesome art down quickly and cleanly. Hes a proficient artist and whatever you want to get done he will make into a masterpiece. First tattoo newbie or 10th tattoo he will do a great job. I have gotten two tattoos so far from him out of six total and hes hands down the best at it for the fairest prices. Cannot recommend enough.

Husband and wife owned and operated. I took my daughter to get her first tattoo, and they were so helpful, professional, talented, friendly and encouraging. The husband is the artist and did such a phenomenal job that she got another one and I also got my first tattoo!
His prices are very reasonable. He has a deal 6 hours for $250 (he said it has to be booked in advance, and I'm not sure how often he runs that special).

Also, we had driven over two hours to go to another tattoo place ( because from our city Rail Yard Ink had not come up on our search) and even though we had called twice to ask if we could come, they turned us away. When I called Rail Yard Ink, even though they were having a break, they made time for us.

Just got a tattoo here today and all I can say is wow!!! Jay is an AMAZING artist. He did mine and my friends today and they look amazing! He is the best free hand artist I've ever came across! Very friendly and will def be going back!

While in town from the OBX I took my wife by without an appointment...super friendly staff helped her and put her at ease. She explained what she wanted and Jay sketched it out for her to finalize. Great customer service and even better prices. She is very happy with her first tattoo and is looking forward to her next.

For starters I’m new to tattoos.
Jay was my artist, he was very patient and maintained a professional image throughout the session. He made sure it was exactly what I wanted (BG rose), it turned out flawless.
His staff also reflected his image. The environment was clean and inviting. He does quick work and it’s top quality for an affordable price. I can honestly say I’ll be back.I’d give it 5 Stars everytime!
