Had my first tattoo done here just the other day and had a great time! The artists are very respectful and professional, the artist I had helped me out since I was a bit nervous being my first tattoo and all. But both my artist and the other in the room who was working on another customer were having a good time and making me laugh while I was getting the tattoo done. And after it was done they sent an email to inform me about the aftercare which was very helpful. I also sent an email with a question and they emailed me back in no time! Awesome place, definitely coming back for more in the future and definitely recommending to all my friends! Thank you guys!

I brought my mom to Red 5 to see Anna Ramirez for her first tattoo and I wouldn't regret a thing. My mom had always wanted one so we decided to get matching tattoos! Anna was extremely gentle and reassuring with my 55 year old mother with fibromyalgia. She was nervous with it being her first tattoo and Anna made sure she was comfortable the whole time.
I love the text/email/call appointment reminders and the email after my tattoo with aftercare instructions! I would always forget what they said or lost the piece of paper they gave me so the email was extremely convenient.
Anna used (I forgot it's technical name) a clear sticker bandage that stays on for up to 4-6 days, which is making healing and care a breeze in general! It takes practically 3 weeks away from the healing process which makes it an even better and easier process for my mom.
At the beginning of our appointment, Anna mentioned adding a little background to our tattoos in the future and instantly my mom said no, this is my one and only bucket list tattoo !
As we were about to leave, my mom told Anna that she would probably be back for some background in the future....
& we will definitely be coming to see Anna again!

Red 5 is the place to go to get your Tattoo! Brett Spickard does an amazing and outstanding job! I have never had anyone take the time and care to make sure that the Tattoo you are getting is perfect! He is truly an amazing artist! My tattoo is perfect in every way! He has a client for life now!!
The Red 5 studio is very clean and very well run. The staff is very friendly and personable. I really can't say enough about Brett and Red 5. An all around an outstanding experience!
UPDATE: Martin is so awesome! He does outstanding work! His technique and color choices flow so well! He is currently working on a half sleeve for my leg. He also touched up two of my 22 year old tattoos and made them look new again! He even went as far to shade the older in k to give a 3D and shadow effect! RED 5 is the place to find top quality artists and so much amazing talent!!
July 5th 2019: Anna just finished doing for work on my hand and fingers! She did outstanding work! So much more than I thought it would be! She is very friendly and caring, her work is outstanding and so awesome!

I am super bummed. I went here because I heard such great things an read such awesome reviews. Set an appointment for my wife an I. My 3rd tattoo her very 1st. It took years to get her to agree, finally got there she was a trooper. We get them done and plastic protective covering is put on for the next couple of days. Once I took the protective covering off the tattoo was still healing. So at the time i thought that the ink that looked smudged would have went away. Not only has the ink smudge not gone away but I noticed that some of the Roman numerals are crooked. Some don’t even look smooth complete. I don’t even know how or if this can even be fixed, but I am completely disappointed this has never happened with either of my tattoos before.

My artist, Martin was great! My tattoo came out exactly how I wanted it. The atmosphere in the parlor was very welcoming also. This was my first tattoo so I was a little nervous, bit it was for nothing. Will definitely come back for future tattoos.

Jason Adkins has done all of my tattoos. I've worked with him for 24+ hours and he is amazing. He has tattooed for over 15 years and is very knowledgeable about his craft. If its your first time or you are a tattoo pro Jason is the guy to go see. His work is unbelievable. I don't go anywhere without either me or my friend getting stopped, and asked where we get our work done. He's an artist and a true professional. I wont have my work done by anyone else.

I love this shop. Martin has been working on my sleeve now for about 3 months, all of their artists are amazing. Find them on instagram to check out their work and you will not be able to put your phone down. Great price!!!
