I am an older person (in my 60’s) and this was my first tattoo. When I walked in the studio, I was immediately greeted and asked how they could help. I told them what I was looking for and she recommended Jamie because of his line work. Jamie took time for a consultation (which I might add was very professional and informative). I sent Jamie my reference photo and when I showed up for my appointment, it was more than I ever imagined. Jamie explained everything that was about to happen and even asked how I was doing during his work. I can’t say enough positive things about my experience at this studio and my artist. Elle is FANTASTIC! She's been tattooing me since she was an apprentice, so of COURSE I followed her to Studio Evolve when she told me she was moving to VB! I legit felt honored to be her first canvas at the new shop..
And this was a great move for her, too! The atmosphere and layout of the shop are perfect! The receptionists are super friendly and professional as soon as you walk through the door. Every artist (and there are something like 20-30 in the building 🤯) has their own cubicle with just enough privacy for their more revealing pieces, but with the ability to still be social! Super chill place, for sure..
For real though, if you're looking for anything nature based (flowers, landscapes, wildlife, insects, even beautiful faces and gems), book an appt with Elle! She makes sitting through even a 5-6 hour session a cake walk! Great conversations, upbeat personality, and one of the most artistic people I have the pleasure of calling a friend or honor of calling my tattoo artist!

The staff was very friendly and professional. The hand sanitizing and safety posters were frequent. They took every precaution necessary to ensure public safety during these times. All of the artist are extremely talented and professional!! I will definitely be getting all of my local work done here. Go see Jamie especially if you're into more traditional tattoo designs!

Got my first larger piece back in March with James Rivera and my experience was amazing! He was so cool, professional, and his work just speaks for itself. I had a vision of what I wanted and he exceeded my expectations. Had some great conversations with him and the other artist that were there that day (Nikki and Blake, I think) and it was just an overall awesome time. More than pleased with my tattoo and I will definitely be back.
