I had an awesome time! The owner and staff were all really kind and fun. They worked with me to choose the best design and placement for what I was looking to do. And the final tattoo looked great and the lines were very clean. I highly recommend getting your next tattoo here.

Honestly the strangest experience. My piercer Kristy was obviously having a rough morning (understandable, happens to all of us). The front desk was super helpful and told me she was running late and helped me pick jewelry, offered water, etc. Kristy comes walking in cussing and explaining the morning she had to the front desk. Loudly. Even while they were trying to answer the phones. Again, I get it. But no acknowledgment of me (the client) just proceeds to share her personal business with the front desk. Then (25 min past my scheduled time at this point) she walks in the back and continues to vent very loudly for another 10+ minutes.
I wish she would have just come out, acknowledged me, respected my time, and asked for a moment to gather herself. Or taken the day off. Or asked me if I would like to reschedule. After continuing to hear her escalated and upset in the back, I decided this is not the person I want seeing me. (Most of us are a little nervous and look for calm and comfort in these situations).
Extra frustrating because now I have to go somewhere I didn’t have the piercing originally done. And I had such an AMAZINGLY professional and wonderful experience with Bennett who did my tattoo. But I won’t be returning to Collective.

Came here with my mom and sister to commemorate our trip to Virginia Beach. The staff was so polite and efficient. The shop is absolutely gorgeous. Michael and Chippi did our tattoos and they were so great! Extremely professional and fun to talk to. Beautiful line work and shading. We are so happy with our new ink 🖤

This review is long overdue. I worked with Lindsey last spring for a large piece on my back that I look forward to adding to this spring. Overall my experience was awesome. The business is friendly and helpful.The building is artfully decorated and rooms offer great privacy. My artist was kind patience and highly skilled! Had the loveliest experience! Got a nostril & septum piercing. Very friendly, clean, quick, professional, great pricing, all around good time. I was a little nervous but it was very chill which helped a lot. I’ll be going back for sure! Highly recommend!

After the scavenger hunt on finding the place because they recently switched locations we had a great time. The staff was super professional, informative, and clean.
