The Badder Ink

Got my septum pierced here about 1 & 1/2 years ago. The piercer pierced my nose crooked, and pierced it again immediately after. It put my body in so much shock, I nearly fainted. I was very pale, and couldn’t even sit up. The piercer brought me a coke and then disappeared and never came back. My piercing was far too high, and never healed correctly. I wasn’t informed of any aftercare for my piercing. I had concerns about 4 months later, as it was tender and sore, so I went to see the piercer again. He changed out my jewelry, giving me zero advice or information about what was wrong with my piercing. He made me extremely uncomfortable, asking me really personal questions. My nose was bleeding after he changed my jewelry, and I decided to never go back to this shop. Which was the best decision I ever made. My septum piercing only lasted a year and a half, and swelled up so badly that I had to go to the Emergency Room and remove it. I had two separate antibiotics due to how severely infected my cartilage was. And my cartilage has never been the same.

Anyone you talk to about this place in the Tri-Cities will give you the same look. Stay away from this place for your own health. There are a lot more trusted piercing artists that will prioritize your safety and health.

**This is an Edit regarding the reply to this review from the shop owner: I noticed they do this when customers leave truthful/negative reviews, they accuse them of not being customers in their system. The piercer personally contacted me to try coming to see me at my place of employment through my cellphone number - which I had never personally given to him - so I know my information is in their system. I would never rely on Badder Ink for information regarding piercings. I’m highly concerned that they can stay operating with their current piercer, this shop will be shut down someday, people don’t stay quiet for long and I know a lot of people who experienced similar issues as I did.

Oh my gosh, Katy was just fantastic! I had this crazy urge to get my nipple pierced out of the blue, and she was so accommodating and welcoming. I was feeling a bit nervous afterwards and she was so sweet and gave me a little candy and a glass of water to help me feel better. It was so thoughtful of her! I'm definitely going to recommend her to all my friends, and I'm already thinking about coming back for another piercing soon. She's the best!

What a delightful experience! Despite the bustling Saturday crowd, I managed to secure a spot as a walk-in at this awe-inspiring place. With uncertainty lingering in my mind about what I truly desired, the staff went above and beyond to help me narrow down my choices and tailor the tattoo to perfectly align with the curves of my right shoulder. Every person there exuded warmth and attentiveness, but my artist Drein was nothing short of phenomenal. His constant check-ins on my comfort level and detailed descriptions of his every move truly impressed me. Thanks to his skilled hands, I now possess the most exquisite tattoo I have ever laid eyes on. Needless to say, I cannot wait to return for my future ink endeavors. Thank you, Drein, for a truly unforgettable experience.

This was my first time at this shop and I wanted to be impressed, but my experience fell short of anything of impressive. Someone scheduled me for a time before the shop opened. When I showed up the curtains were closed and lights were off. I then realized they didn’t open for another couple of hours. I came back when the shop was open and the piercer was still late. Couldn’t tell you his name because he never told me. I have a lot of other ear piercings so he could have assumed I knew after care, however, he didn’t ask if I needed or wanted any after care. Other places at least ask. The selection of piercing jewelry was less than desirable as well. Once the experience started I was in and out very quickly, no positive customer relationship was established which is disappointing. No name, no card, nothing. I felt like a number walking on through.

The redeeming qualities - the piercings themselves are fine (double flat ear piercing). He seemed to know what he was doing and seemed nice enough during the session. They do have a selection of body jewelry and jewelry you can buy apart from the piercing that looks really cool. The shop was very clean. I did get a discount for the schedule hiccup.

All that said, with the plethora of places that provide piercings, I’ll probably pass on coming back.

My sister and I got our tattoo with Israel, and we were so satisfied by his professionalism and kindness. Few days ago, I came back to get my nostril and Septum pierced, and again he did an excellent job! Israel, You cool ! Thank you very much. ❤️

I absolutely love my tattoo done by Badder israel They were extremely easy to talk to and I love their style of tattoos. They really worked with me to get exactly what I wanted and I never felt like I couldn't speak up if I wanted to change something! Super clean work and it's healing great.

Had an EXCELENTE experience at Badder Ink with Israel. I got my second lobe piercing and two cartilage. Israel was super helpful in choosing jewelry, together with her receptionist they both help me really good offering opinions and recommendations on placement, and explaining each step in detail.
