Nite Owl Tattoo

I have been getting tattooed here since 2014 by Will. The atmosphere when you walk in is inviting and all the artists are very friendly. All of my tattoos are excellent and have held up so well over the years. I have referred at least 5 of my friends to Nite Owl and all of them left with great work by several artists. As a client who has gotten to know the owners over time I know they care deeply about their business and will do whatever they can do to ensure you have the best tattooing experience. Most recently I had my baby boys foot prints and name designed for my forearm. I came in with a general idea and Will turned my idea into something solid and beautiful as usual.

The atmosphere made me feel as if I was visiting an old friend. The artist that did my tattoo, was honest and up front on what he could and couldn't do with the drawing that I provided. When I say that he couldn't do something, it is not because he doesn't have the skill to do it, but rather he knew the tattoo would in time not look as good as it will the way we decided to do it. One of the best shops I've been in.

Fantastic customer service and friendly staff, phenomenally talented artists, quality services and conversation. Quite literally the best experience I’ve ever had in a tattoo shop and I will absolutely return without hesitation. Look no further, do yourself a favor- stop by and make an appointment ASAP.

I noticed there was a recent negative review, and I wish I could comment directly on it. So I will address it here.

These artists absolutely take pride in the work they put out. There is a reason they are booked so far out. They are worth the wait.

It is so common that the artist draws for your appointment the day before or the day of. That is common practice and I don't know of a shop in the area that doesn't work that way.

I don't know where the placement of your tattoo is, but I can guarantee wherever it is you probably have to distort the image to see it, thus making it look crooked.

The tattoo is unfinished I assume so some of those line work issues you speak of are probably not even going to be recognizable once the tattoo is finished.

If you wanted a day scene, you should have said something before the tattoo was started. You are 100% correct when you say the tattoo will be on you forever, but it is your job to SPEAK UP if there is a detail they may have missed. Tattooers are not mind readers. So you should have said something.

Tattooers put their heart and soul into everything they do, especially at this shop. We're you aware that tattooers get home from the shop and immediately start drawing for their next set of appointments? They are sometimes up all night (hence the 1am email you received). They sacrifice time with their family to draw for your tattoo.. They put in as much time possible as they can into each tattoo they do.

You saw the drawing before you even stepped foot in the shop, so again, if you were unhappy with the design IT IS YOUR JOB TO LET THEM KNOW. If they needed more time to alter the drawing etc then you would get rescheduled.

There are two sides to every story and I highly encourage anyone else reading these reviews to take into account the MANY MANY MANY positive reviews, and that the negative review (especially the one I am addressing in particular) did not use proper communication, and hasn't reached out to the shop to make it right, which I fully and wholeheartedly believe that Will would do everything possible to make it right.

You owe the shop and your artist an apology... and as you said, you aren't an artist... so you have no idea what the process is. Go back to leaving bad reviews on Christmas tree farms because the trees aren't tall enough for you 🙄

Nite owl is a fantastic shop, they take the time to make sure your tattoo and your experience are top notch. I have enjoyed tattooing there, and getting tattooed there. Will, Molly, Eric and John are some of the best kinda folks you could ever have the pleasure to spend your time around. I would highly recommend checking this shop out and getting tattooed.

I'm covered in tattoos from many different artist and I can say with complete certainty, Will is one of the best tattoo artist I've ever met. The whole Night Owl family is amazing. I've had multiple pieces done by Will now, and I am going to keep going back to him!

Also Molly and her significant other sell tattoo salve, I've been using it and it works super well and its compact so you can bring it along with you in your purse or car!! THANK YOU AGAIN !!

Update: she's extremely hard to get ahold of so if you call and you dont get ahold of her I'd recommend going to the shop if possible!! (This was for a bit of a touch up, still never got a call back or text message)

Molly ‘flew’ away with this one. This is a beautiful tattoo. She was great and the time flew by. The thing I appreciated most - she was so thoughtful to do the most sensitive part first and then the rest was like a massage. Great touch. Great conversation. Great artist.

They are very friendly and the place is very clean. I’ve gotten two tattoos from here and I’ll be get my third one soon .
