Its been months since I actually had my tattoo done, however I've been considering more tattoos and have reflected on this experience more. Overall, I would say I'm happy with my tattoo and how it came out. I have no regrets on the tattoo I have received and I suppose if I were to do it over again I would choose here, just for the knowledge that the tattoo came out nicely. However, when I first came in I did feel like I wasn't really taken seriously, but I did brush it off since they were busy. I scheduled a time for my tattoo with Jake and it was supposed to be done before I left for my second year of college. I paid the deposit and I took down Jake's number to send him photos of what I had in mind. I had waited about a week before trying to reach out, since I was working full-time and had other things on my mind. However, I never got a response. It seems I didn't have the correct number, and I will admit that I could've done more to try and remedy this, however it slipped my mind more than once. It wasn't until the day of the scheduled tattoo when he reached out to me, and we had to reschedule the tattoo, however now I'd be 6 hours away at college for the next few months. Upon now having the correct number I sent the pictures of what I had in mind again, assuming that he would hopefully do something original, instead I got the exact image of one that I had sent him. Which I was disappointed with, but I did really like the design I had sent, and its an image I've been holding on to for years. During the tattoo, i was getting it done on my ribs, it was a lot more painful than my first one, and I was trying to have a conversation to distract from the pain so I asked some questions to him. He wasn't very responsive and instead talked to the other artists in the shop. Which, wasn't as good as a distraction, even if it did end up being stories (made up or not?) of how he paid another guy to sleep with his wife. By this point. I just wanted it all over with, and he seemed very offended by the lack of tip (i think, he didn't outright say that, he just seemed annoyed once I handed over the money), however I didn't realize this was something that would be expected (if its common knowledge, i apologize). Perhaps it was because my first tattooing experience was so great, with my artist making light conversation, enough that I wasn't expected to respond well but keep me distracted if I needed and with such warm and friendly customer service that this experience leaves a sort of bad taste in my mouth. If none of these things stand out or are concerns for you, then I totally understand going. However I won't be returning

Thor's is the shop where tattoo dreams come true. We are so lucky to have such a high class tattoo shop in our small town. My spouse and I have been getting tattoos here for years and will not go anywhere else. The shop is very clean, the artists are all tremendously easy to collaborate with and they are fairly priced. The shop is also fun to be in! The guys are all really cool and funny and it feels like you're just hanging out with your friends. It helps you forget you're getting tiny needles stabbed in to your skin.
Justin is magic! My partner has been getting work done on a sleeve of armour (and then some) and the work is truly stunning. Justin has tattooed me as well and I am always over the moon with the result. I also had a tattoo done by Drew and am just as satisfied.
And the best part is that they contribute to the community. They have a fundraiser every year and have raised thousands of dollars for cancer research.

When I came into the shop, Arlin was at the front desk - I told him about my tattoo idea. He took the time to educate me on the cons of my idea and helped advise and guide me in a direction that would lead me to a tattoo that I would be more pleased with long term (as it aged). It was hard, but I took his expert advice and as it turns out I am extremely pleased with the outcome of his design.
Not only was he so kind and professional, educating me to a better direction, his work was excellent - lines incredibly clean.
He was really easy and pleasant to work with - I would definitely refer him & return myself!

What a wonderful tattoo shop!! I wouldn't go anywhere else! Justin and all of the guys in there are professional and amazing artists! The space is clean, and welcoming, and you are guaranteed to leave more than satisfied with the work!! Trust me they will take care of you!!! Justin is my artist, every time I get a tattoo done by him, I am in awe of his artistic creativity and professionalism!! Everyone around me ( people I don't even know) comment on how amazing it is!! So please take your time and check out Thor's it is so worth it!

My husband and I just got tattoos done here and they came out perfect! Mike did great work! Him and the rest of the staff were all very kind and it seems like they all really enjoy working together. We will be returning to this shop and highly recommend it!

Sam tattooed "LET THEM" on my right wrist. It came out just as I hoped it would and only took her about 15 minutes to do it. Thanks Sam!

Super great place! I admit I have never been to any of the other tattoo places around and this was my first tattoo but the people here are so awesome. Mike did my tattoo and even though the last half hour did not feel super good he took multiple breaks with me and did not even charge me for it! Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get a tattoo. Wish I could do more than 5 stars.

Staff were friendly and able to quickly fit in a refresh of an old tattoo. Clean and well lit workspace. I expect I will be back for some new work in the next few months.

I got my first tattoo with Jake Wells and he is wonderful! (Whenever he's there at the shop, it's open ;) After he did some work for my husband I decided to get the memorial piece I had been planning for years. I can't say enough about how great it was working with him. While I won't say it was pain free, it was about as close as being-repeatedly-stabbed-with-needles possibly could be. Jake's work is absolutely beautiful and now that it's finished, I'm sad I waited so long to get it done! The atmosphere in the shop is super fun and very laid back while also turning out excellent art. I'm not sure how you can simultaneously be so chill and so professional but these dudes definitely pull it off. I'd be happy to work with any of the guys since all of their portfolios are amazing. Being a navy family, we most likely won't be staying here forever but while we live in the PNW nobody except THNT will be working on me!
